Trouble discharging ships

In my Federation character I have several ships that i would like to discharge in order to claim the most recent giveaway but I cannot. Even when I type in the ships name in the box the "OK" button remains grayed out and I am not able to discharge the ships i need to. They are all ships that i have earned in game.

    You included the prefix? as in "U.S.S. Enterprise" instead of just "Enterprise" and don't forget the "."

    That fixed it, thank you. Details sometimes make all the difference.

    i am having same problem and nothing i do seems to help me....i am close to quiting this freaking game.... also can not seem to dismiss any bridge offeciers
