Best Fleet Warp Core

jtmarshjtmarsh Member Posts: 0 Arc User
I am trying to figure out the best ultra rare fleet warp core to buy. My stats
Fleet Defient

Stations:
ENG
Emer power to shields 2 and Eng team 2
Sci
Hazard Em 1 and Transfer to shield 2

Load out Fore
ADV fleet Antiproton dual heavy cannons 3 of them and a torpedo
aft Stocked full of turrets

Consoles
Antiproton mag reg MK12 ultra rare 5 of them
Science X2 Field Gen Mk 12 ultra rare.

Bar jumps off the graph when weapons are fired. Also have it set as full power to weapons.

So what fleet warp core would you buy?

Question is, how are your.power settings set? U would suggest an elite without question. W-?A for stronger heals and dps if you chose the offensive t4 Nukara ability
    Chive on and prosper, eh?

Lose the eng team, it will mess with your 2x tac team cycle.

If you want a hull heal go for Aux2SIF, it only has a 15 sec cooldown and again won't mess with you 2x tac team cycle.

Pick up 3x purple damage control doffs so you can cycle your EPtS for about 100% up time.

As for warp core I went for the elite hyper-charged (+engine and +aux) Eff, W->A, AMP, ECap and Tran

    +engines because I'm cycling 2x EPtS1 so I have high shield power.

Eff adds a little bit more power.

With the T4 Nukara rep you want as much as much aux as you can and as I'm an escort I'm running max weapons power so W->A is the best choice.

AMP is awesome and with Leech 75 in all system is no problem.

Is there an index somewhere that I can view the stats for all the Fleet warp cores before I unlock them?

It would be nice to know if this is worth the effort before I bother.

Just go to your mines ground map, even if you haven't unlocked the cores you can still view there stats.

+1. Solid advice. Aux2SIF has a 15s cooldown, which is pretty mad. Seriously under-rated ability.

As for the core, there is no "one core to rule them all" it entirely depends on your build and power levels, but if you don't get one with "AMP" then you're doing it wrong.

Stupidly powerful modifier is stupidly powerful.

If you want to tinker with your ship's power settings with different cores (including Fleet versions), engines, deflectors, shields, consoles, skills, etc., then download my Ship Power Calculator (linked in my signature). The Calc will show you what your power levels will be before you make any purchases.

You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.

    Greetings,

FWIW I fly a fleet defiant aswell with a fairly similar loadout:

Fore weapons: mkxii adv fleet quantum torp / quad phaser cannons / elite fleet phaser DHCS x2
Aft weapons: elite fleet phaser turret mkxii x3

My choice of WC was this one:

Elite Fleet Reinforced Warp Core Mk XII [SEP]
    [S->W] [WCap] [EWS] [SSS]

    Hope this helps.
