Doff Bank (Account Bank)

As I accidently deleted a mail with 5 blue doff (Fabrication Engineers and Matter-Antimatter Specialist; for both groups a paradan with efficent, logical, unscrupulous :-( ) I wanted to transfer to my new romulan I had the idea, to have a save transfer of doff by using the account bank.

    Some kind of more efficient means of storing or sharing doffs really would be nice. One could argue that no one needs more than 400 slots per character but let's be honest, who cares about need when there is a very clear and simple means for Cryptic to make more money?

    I still think they should put Transport Pattern Buffer expansion slots in the z-store.

    Lols. You should have seen that nose-splurt of coffe projectiling onto my computerscreen.

    well, I wouldn't really bother for a pack of blue doffs, but I did create a support ticket for like 100ds of purples that got lost in my mail box...

    Successfully.

    Granted I wasn't online for last 12 months or so, so my emails are kinda really really bugged.

    Considering there is over 600 "special" duty officers I would hardly say that 400 is enough.

    1. There is no such thing as "enough" inventory space. This applies to the doff roster, too. If someone wants to pay for 10,000 doff slots, the company should be happy to take their money.

    2a. Items in deleted mail are gone forever. GM support can't recover them. I've asked.

    2b. There should be a "recycle bin" section in the mail system, where deleted mails go to and stay for 24 hours so we could recover accidental deletions. Just like real email services. Alternatively, mail with items in it should not be deletable without first removing the items.

    3. Yes to doffs in account bank.

    I have to add my Voice here too, we URGENTLY need an additional Account shared bank for DOFFS and maybe also Boffs.

    Seriously dealing and sorting out which character has what doffs, which doffs to send to which other character, which doffs are needed, which are not and can be sold, some chars have full rosters some other lack every possible doffs, its a NIGHTMARE. I have 42 chars on my main Account, can you even imagine what a MAJOR PAIN in the you know where it is to handle all there doffs?

    Therefore we SO need another Account Shared Bank JUST for doffs, i say NO to use the normal account bank for this, since its way to small and used for all kinds of other stuff, having up to 400 Doffs per characters means, we need a "Doff Account Bank / Pool" that has lets say around 500 slots by default? than they can add additional Slots (100 to maybe 1000 "slot packs"?) to the C-Store, those additional "Slot packs" would sell 10x BETTER than HOT Cakes with CHOCOLATE on it!

    I would SO maximize that "Doff Acount Bank / Pool" having such a Bank with lets say 5000 Slots (or more if needed?) HELL YEA, so CRYPTIC THERE IS A "BIG"NEED HERE, we benefit from it cause that would make our Lives so FRIGGIN much easier x1000000, and you Cryptic would make some SERIOUS Dollars out of the additional Slots!

    while you are on it, such a Account Shared Bank for Boffs would also be SWEET, iam getting Dozens of Boffs every day from Doff Missions, still have to "Upgrade" the Boffs of most of my Characters, and every single time its again a PAIN, going through my Characters, and looking which character has what Boffs that are not bound to him that i than can send to another character that could use it.

    So we have Personal Bank / Account Bank, now what we need is a "Account Doff Bank" and "Account Boff Bank" PLEASE, you guys know that there is the NEED for that, and that you would make Big Time Cash out of this so PRETTY PLEASE?
