Where to get fast expertise

I've been doing my 3 reputations constantly and ran completely out of xp. Now I struggle to get the 45k or so a day for all of them. I get some from the defera invasion zone but it seems like almost everything I run like crystalline entity or the azure rescue gives no xp other than like a tiny 1k from random kills. I do missions to get it sometimes but those can be slow and I was looking for something that I could farm to get the xp. I've heard Mirror Universe Incursion was good but I can't find that in my lfg log and Idk how to do it.
I'd appreciate the help, I'd just like fast expertise! thanks

    Mirror Invasion comes up once a day, sometimes twice. Check the main missions window, and scroll through the events. When it comes active, it will show up in the PVE Queues. I get about 14k EXP from each run, and you can do them back-to-back during the event, so max gains are only limited to how many ships your groups can wipe out in the hour. Low-level groups take longer since the players have less DPS, but max-level teams with a lot of rep gear can pull down up to 200k EXP in the hour.

    The Mirror Invasion is awesome for expertise, shame it only last an hour :-(

    how do I know when the mirror invasion is? I always check my pve queues and never see it

    The Mirror Invasion is just for one hour every day, so you may need to side-scroll a bit in the PvE daily list to find it.

    (i.e. The daily list that shows things like Fleet Mark events, Academy event, etc)

    Don't forget things like the Defera invasion zone, a little while down there can net you a good chunk as well as some marks

    What is a pve daily list, how do i get to it... do you mean pve queues, don't see it there

    In the upper right hand corner of your screen, by default, you have your mini-map. If your a Fed, in the lower left hand corner of that area is a Starfleet insignia. Click it and you'll see the daily PvE activity list in the center as well as buttons to get into the PvE and PvP screens, available missions, and more.

    Foundry is best way or just wait for mirror invasion

    You could also run episode missions such as "Spin the Wheel" for a very quick easy and fast way to farm skill points with little to no effort involved.

    foundry farm missions and mirror event...fleet alert or starbase 24 aren't too shaby either

    Mirror invasion, patrol missions and foundry is fastest way to grind. Some of the grinder missions on the foundry work wonders. Never used them for the cash, but lots of opponents and lots of exp for rapid levelling.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    To add to the already-mentioned:

    Do some VA dailies. For example: star cluster exploration is easy and gives a neat amount.

    Next: play some Rommy/Nukara mark Space PvE's. The reward of marks might not be that great, but you do get acceptable amounts of xp

    Last but not least: pick a Tau Dewa Patrol map which is kill the 5 waves. That should keep you going.


    Combine this with your usual dailies, and voila, you're done.

    Ran out of expertise for the first time ever in STO on my new romulan!

    Looked around and most people were saying to run the mirror invasion.

    So i ran it the full hour last night, cameout with 412,000 expertise from it :D

    What time is the mirror invasion active? I've only seen it available about 3 times in the 2 months I've been playing. Is it completely random or is it always the same hour every day?

    I recommend Defera. Not only do you get about 15k Expertise, but you can earn close to 300 Fleet Marks and a smaller amount of Omega Marks. Altogether good times!

    Have you played through all the story missions, especially the early ones? You can get a good chunk of Expertise once you hit level 50, since it rolls your XP into Expertise as well. =)

    In addition to the recommendations already given, make sure you slot a Consultant with Bonus Expertise in one of your Active Duty Officer Slots.

    It can help give a % boost to the gain based on the quality of the Consultant.

    Fleet actions and No Win Scenario are also good sources for quick EXP
