JHAS hangar pets

I really really really would love to have these for my JH Dreadnought..

the problem is you need the JHAS and they are so rare that they cost 480 million EC on the exchange.

im not sure who's bright idea it was to require the JHAS as a requirement for hangar pets but is there any plans to make these JHAS more easier to attain?

this is ridiculous. i paid 800 lobi for my JH Dreadnought and i cant even get decent hangar pets for it..

im forced to use Romulan scorpion fighters.. sigh

on my vo'quv i have qaw'dun
on my kar'fi i have fer'jai

but on my JH Dreadnought, i cant get JHAS.. or any frigates.. unless i spend 500 million ec.

im not complaining about the JHAS requirement.. i want to be able to get the JHAS..

Bout your only other option is wait till they have one of those Doff pack specials and hope you win one.

they should have never made something a requirement that you cant obtain tho..
you cant even get a JHAS unless you purchase it off the exchange from a player..

they need to put it in the lobi store.. or something..

^ This is correct. The req. should have never been put in place. The JHAS is not even available anymore, and according the the last dev blog released after these requirements were told to us, they also said that the last promotion was the LAST time we would see the JHAS show up, its gone forever.

Ya, its not right that every other carrier besides the Atrox gets a frigate pet option by simply owing the mother carrier, and besides, the Qaw'dun BoP pets are equal if not better than the JHAS pets in raw DPS potential anyways, so why not unlock the JHAS pets for owners of the Dreadnought? Heck, even the Scimitar gets a frigate pet option, and them pets are just OP.

Oh well I refuse to spend my EC on exchange just for some silly escort ill never use so i can buy pets with mediocre DPS.

i dont mind paying 70 to a 100$ a ship but to buy a JHAS would come at or close to 400$ and dont tell me it can be got in game by grinding tell me this you really going to grind out 480 mill EC????? when i see a lets grind 480mill EC on youtube with this being done then we will talk about lets grind 480mill EC

i have the 480m its not that..

its the fact that i cant get this ship any other way but to buy it from a player in the exchange.

i dont believe this ship is worth 480m.

it should be around 80m or so the same as any other lockbox or lobi ship..

To the OP and other's who think "it's just not fair!" Think about it, would you be happy if you spent $200-$300-$400 on the lock box lottery game, or 6-8 months grinding for Energy Credits to purchase the JHAS on the exchange. Only to find out later that Cryptic will be giving the JHAS away as a promotion, or to simply buy it on the c-store for 1200 zen. I think it would be safe to say there would be a massive wave of rage quitting STO players in the community. Again, put yourself in the shoes of those who did "pay up" to get that ship, think about it?

Making frigates carrier-only is a dumb decision.
Why can't my mesh weaver go on my voq if I own both? I can see that the decision made sense years ago but not anymore. Cryptic doesnt like "going back" on poor decisions. It takes a lot of momentum for them to do that.

Also, making the decision to purchase the ultra rare attack ship to get a frigate is a dumb decision. But easily solvable. I learned my lesson to never ever get a lockbox ship again. Cryptic has to know that this is innacceptable.

But two dumb decisions in a row makes this an odd purchase.

One way cryptic can resolve this and make money: put carrier neutral carrier pets in a box in a lockbox or lobi store that isn't bound. You don't know what is in there. Elachi/breen hanger frigate pets (or other faction) in a box that gives you a random pet.

I use Orion Interceptors... but yes, I'd rather use the JHAS pets.

im not saying to give it away for free.. im saying put it in the lobi store or a special lock box or something so i can get it.

just getting the JH Dreadnought costs money.. you have to open boxes.. collect lobi and purchase it in the lobi store for 800..

then you find out that you cant get the JHAS hangars until you buy a JHAS from someone on the exchange for whatever they feel is the going price, currently 480m+

The way Cryptic runs promotions they may run the Dominion Lock Box that includes the JHAS... although wouldn't hold my breath (it's been promoted like 3 times over 2 years). Again, the chances of obtaining the ship via lockbox is slim to none. I've spoken with some that obtained the ship within 3 lock boxes, and I heard that some opened 300+ lock boxes and never received it. Again, its the lock box lottery.

If you really want the ship then I suggest you buy lock box keys and sell them on the exchange, and/or open lock boxes and get other ships and sell them on the exchange.

totaly regret grinding out the lobi to get the jemmy dread now . not only do i not get to use the best pets for it . i get handed an incomplete console set .

yes i wanted to look jem hadary with it , just looks dumb sporting delta f;yers or whatever

so it todays current price of 485m for the attack ship.
buying the keys with zen and reselling them would cost 325-350$.

sounds pretty expensive to get some hangar pets for a ship that is worth 800 lobi.. or 200-225$ in keys.

yes you can grind dil and ec.. like i said i have the EC.. i just dont feel the JHAS is worth that much and when/if they do release it again im sure the price will go back down.. that is why everyone is saying NO to releasing it again..

really...... lets talk fair lets talk about how i paid gamestop 80$ for the collectors edition pre order to get the T1 connie and other stuff like the DS9 outfit oh but wait it dont end their lets talk about the 64$ i paid for the Atari digital deluxe edition items to what see all them items end up in the zen store still want to talk fair?

The Connie was not part of the Collectors pack... It was a Game Stop preorder.

Actually it was free as long as you got it in Game Stop, just part of their preorder stuff you just paid for the game

really, let's talk about the digital collectors edition I bought from Best Buy for $80, then the digital download I bought from Amazon for $60... and the $600 I spent over 6 months playing the lock box lottery.... cry me a river next time.

gamestop only gave out open beta codes that ship code was part of the key to the box you pick up

Dude I use to work for Game Stop they had an exclusively at the time for the TOS connie if people got it at Game stop, just like people who got the Game from Amazon got the Borg BO at the time.
