Energy Credit Storage Limit for Non-Subscribers

I have questions that i need answered.

I am not a subscriber and only play Free to Play. What is the Energy Credit Storage Limit for non-subscribers? Can a non-subscriber use the Zen store to increase the Cap of energy Credits? How much does it increase the Cap to? How many times can this be purchased for a non-suscriber?

Your help would be very appreciated. thanks.

    You can grind dilithium and trade that for zen to buy everything thats in the store including the EC cap removal. You buy the cap removal once for the whole account. 10 million is the ec cap for free players.

    The basic limit is 10 million EC. You can buy an Energy Credit Cap Increase for 500 Zen, this will make the new limit 1 billion.

    This item can be purchased once, and yes, you can use it if you're a free player.

    its 10mill EC for non subs or with out the item to remove it from the zen store and its 1 bill EC for subs or used with the item to take the cap off

    10 Million energy credit, but you can boost that to 1 Billion i think by buying if from the cstore

    You purchase it once (unlock) and it increases the limit on all your chars.

    go gold for one month.
    you get all the inventory upgrades. the shared account bank. the 4 extra boffs per char.. plus 500 zen to purchase the EC upgrade.

    plus if you level any chars up while you are gold they get respec tokens.

    This. but make sure you're level 50 to take advantage of all the inventory/bank/boff slots.

    You get 500 free zen when you go gold - use that to buy the upgrade from the store. Everyone should go gold for one month, then cancel, when they're done levelling IMHO.

    i dont think you need to buy any EC upgrade if you sub for a month i know i never did or have

    You do. The EC upgrade cap is the only thing you don't keep after a month of gold. Extra item/bank/boff slots all stay, but the cap doesn't.

    Has always been this way, AFAIK.

    Yeah totally. $5 or $300, practically the same thing. Or, yano, like 60k dilithium. A week's worth if you only have one character.

    Just pay the 15$ dollar sub fee for 1 month and get all the unlocks for the equivalent of 15 dollars.

    You will not have to sub again, just for the one month. The unlocks are permanent for the cost of 1 months sub...

    Except the EC cap goes back to 10 mil once the sub ends which is kinda the whole point of this thread.

    Not really since I got it through dilithium only. The only reason to go gold is the storage, character slots, and respec tokens if you are levelling a character. Storage is restrospective the respec tokens aren't.

    I though Stipends only Came with Lifer Accounts ?

    Edit Nevermind I Checked Features Matrix they do neat

    I know lots of People that went gold for one month seems to be worth it

    does this limit go away after making a purchase of zen or is it just based on whether or not you subscribe or buy the increase limit from c-store?

    Based on what we've been told, you must subscribe or buy the increase. Just spending zen doesn't relax the EC cap.

    Not that I've ever had enough EC since F2P to test that theory...

    Going gold for one month is the best deal in the game by far.

    If you pay for 1 month you get this value.
    500 zen (aka you paid 10 for subscription and 5 for the zen)
    Next is items you get with every character you level up while gold and you get to keep these benefits even when you go back to silver.
    3 free inventory upgrades (1200 zen value)
    60 more personal bank slots (1200 zen value)
    20 account shared banks slots (2000 zen value)
    6 retrain tokens as long as you start at under level 10 while gold (3000 zen value)
    1 extra character (maybe more since lor not sure on this one either way about a 300 zen value)
    4 extra bridge officer slots (500 zen value)

    So for every character you start and level up to 50 while gold you get a 5900 zen value.
    Even if you already have a level 50 you get a 2900 zen value per character since things like inventory/bank slots/boff slots are given retroactively.
    You get a 2300 zen value in just the account shared bank and a extra character slot.

    So if you have the means and enjoy the game giving them $15 for a month subscription gives you an incredible value.

    Some people cannot go gold for whatever financial reasons, myself included. There is always the option to convert dilithium to zen to remove the 10 mil cap.

    I went and am staying gold, I picked it up during one of the sales and pay, $30 for three months.

    I may cancel after I hit 400 days and get the special shuttles, but t system rate $30 for three months isn't bad in my opinion.

    I love the look of the special Romulan Shuttle, only like 50 more days.

    thanks for the response I'm used to other games that have a level inbetween f2p and a sub that give benefits for spending money in terms of either character slot currency limitations etc will definatlye think about going gold for a month with this new information
