Problems logging into Gateway from Android Tablet

Several months ago I was able to log into the Gateway using my Android Tablet (Lepan II, Android 4.0.4). Recently every time I attempt to enter my user name and password, as soon as the android keyboard appears, it is immediately suppressed before I can press any keys. I have not seen this behavior with any other web sites, and as I mentioned, this didn't happen with the Gateway a few months ago either.
A similar issue I have seen with the main web site is that if I attempt to log in on my android phone, the log-in pop-up appears in the middle of the screen, but if I zoom the screen (which is necessary because the phone's screen is so tiny), the pop-up with the text fields slides off the bottom of the screen, out of view.
