How do I do these things with keybinds?

1. On keystroke say Target (whatever target)

2. On keystroke say a string like "This is the U.S.S. Challenger here to assist"

3. How do I delete a keybind I make?

Tried doing /bind 1 Target<< $target >>Target and it does not work...

/bind 1 target: $target

this is from an old bind list, i now use the keybind app for pure laziness



EDIT: make sure you are in the correct zone when binding a key, space/ground and dont test in sector space

You should try selecting a channel or it might not work. Mine is /bind T team Target: $target

1 Type This Game Command To Bind Your Chosen Key to Call Target

/bind Keyname "Team Attack $target"

2 For your here to Assist

/bind Keyname "Team This is the U.S.S. Challenger here to assist"

3 To Clear a Key bind on one Key use the Unbind Command

/unbind Keyname

You shouldn't have to memorize commands for this. It should be as simple as a few clicks of the mouse in an "Options" menu. :mad:

If they Added the Function to Create Custom Game Commands That String multiple Game Commands to One Key within the Game's Options window.

That Would Be Great For Everyone

And Making it More Fair For Players Who Don't know they can make there own Key binds

They'd probably make this new "keybind menu" a lockbox reward, or part of a costume pack. :P

Seriously, if it doesn't directly make money, it will receive no attention. This is why people have to search message boards and outside resources just to find and use this game feature. :mad:
