New at the tailor: Pants for ONLY 550 Zen!

The tailor want to charge me 550 Zen to change between long and Loose, Knee High, and Mid-Ankle pants on my Fed-Male-Human toon. This can't be right, can it?
His methods have become unsound.

    This has happened to me as well. On more than one occasion on more than one toon. Exit the Tailor and then try your costume change again. This usually clears the problem.

    Also if you haven't already, try unchecking the "show unowned costume parts" button. Sometimes it likes to sneak an unowned c-store item in there when you change categories.
