it's almost is if they always fall back and regroup, only to emptE back again.
could we somehow use this as a sort of new AI where the borg work together to accompsih their goals? and why do they come so slow out of the gate on elite STF's anyway? Those borg STF's still need some work
Lyndon Brewer: 20% chance to capture enemy ship for 60 seconds on successful use of boarding party.
the borg are definitely faster than they let on, i would like to see them being able to dart all over the place at full speed, it's kind of what makes them so deadly (that and the instant kills).
i don't know that it would necessarily ruin objectives either, players would need to redeploy resources and focus more on crowd control, everything is coming at you faster.
would be a nice bump to set elite apart from normal other than the dps crawl.
Wait, aren't the Borg kinda infamous for their lack of creativity and imagination? I mean, they don't actually invent or create anything, they can only assimilate stuff. it's partly the reason why not being able to absorb Species 8472 (the Undine) was such a hassle for them; without being able to actually assimilate an Undine, they couldn't devise any tactics to use against them.
One could infer that this also extends to their tactics and as whole. Why run to a target when they can't really hurt you, why gang up on one ship at a time when you think any single one of yours is more than a match for them, et cetra, et cetra.
