romulan dreadnought fallcion class

hello .from a unhappy romulan capatin today I bort romi dred fallcion class ship .after reading between the lines I new it was a 3 set peace ,what I did not believe was that my new ship would not the have the thalaron pulse weapon, witch is as I thought made the fallcion the great ship that it is ,after paying 2500 zen .I now find that its going to cost me a further 5000 zen just to sort 3 set peace. I e thalaron pulse ,I hope the powers that be please add pulse weapon to all 3 ships as standard ,the cost two high ?60+...ive spent a small fortune on zen in past and present ,I will no longer buy any more zen ,until I hope a great rong put right ,please for give any spelling errors bin a wile,, thank you fellow capatins

    While I understand your dismay, the description is quite clear that the Thalaron Pulse is a Console Set: "The three-piece set bonus is Thalaron Pulse."

    It might behoove people to ask questions on the forum before making big purchases. That way these types of mistakes can get caught before the money is spent.

    You can try to send in a billing ticket and explain the situation. They might be willing to give you a refund and take the ship back, but it would be unlikely.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    If you actually read the description you would know you have to have the three piece set, all three consoles, one from each Romulan Dreadnought, Not Cryptics fault that you did not read.

    That, and the Pulse is not very good anyway.

    They are not going to add the thalaron pulse to all three ships because you only get the thalaron pulse by equiping all the three consoles in one ship, and each ship has it's own console.

    If it makes you feel better the thalaron pulse isn't a big deal. I like it for the "visual" part, but it really isn't a game changing thing.

    True, did not think of that, whenever I think Star Trek, I think America/Britain english.

    To be fair, the problem here is not the english, it's the structure. Or lack of. But if you want to know what he's saying (writing), you get it.

    I'm afraid you were not wronged here, you simply were not paying attention to what you were buying. It is well documented including in each of the individual ships that the thalaron pulse weapon and passive is part of the three console package (that is, you need all three ships).... so, at this point shell out money for all three ships to get it (just as it was documented to you when you looked at the purchase) or don't (and not get it). Threatening to not buy more Zen because you didn't get what was specifically documented that you wouldn't be is absurd.

    Guy at a Petrol station. On a sign: "This petrol makes you go alot further", the guy stops reading reading and then gets the petrol, failing to see "but beware you need to use this at least another 2 times to make it hugely noticeable".

    He gets petrol, and is unhappy about it costing more, and he does not get a a noticeable improvement (an improvement, but not hugely)

    He vows never to buy the premium petrol ever again because he thinks that the company ought to charge a normal tariff for a premium thing.


    Can I just point , that if I posted this on something unrelated, and ask people their opinion on the "guy", I would imagine that they think his reasons for vowing never to get that petrol again are self inflicted and to be honest ... silly.


    To the OP, where money is concerned, you really ought to be far more careful, especially if it is a lot. And your reasons to NEVER get Zen EVER again I think are almost daft.

    There is no "rong" here, and if you did not like the ship, you should have not "bort" it.

    PWE have given us an opportunity to buy ships, explaining clearly what they do, what you will get.

    In-fact , I would go as far as saying , the great wrong here is your lack of understanding of what a "wrong" is.
    Hopefully I'll come back from my break; this break is fun; I play intellectual games.

    I hope STO get's better ...

    It has been my experience with this game that refunds are NEVER issued for any reason, even when the fault is totally with Cryptic/PWE. Happened to me, lost a lot of EC.
