Too many disruptor variants!

having trouble locating certain disruptor weapons on the exchange due to the large amount of polarized and nanite disruptors currently flooding the market. I can't even see a single xii disruptor beam array. even specifically typing it brings up nothing but polarized/nanite disruptor weapons..

little help here devs?? any way to make the exchange be a little more specific?

and why is the exchange so picky about spelling what your looking for correctly? if I make one typo it won't show me anything, can it be more like google search?

Exchange needs more filters. Exchange needs more correctly working filters. If I search tactical officer under BOffs with my only show usable items as on, why do I see KDF officers?

Exchange needs to add [mod] for DOffs and BOffs as well.

if your looking for disruptors, why not just go for the hybrid weaponry? they have the same base damage type, meaning you can use normal disruptor boosting items on them, and they usually have more beneficial procs.

Possibly because you give up a modifier to get that second proc, and the OP may prefer the modifier to the proc.

Only thing you can do is type out EXACTLY what you want. Disruptor Beam Array Mk XI isn't going to help you find the mods you're looking for. You'd actually have to type something like:

Disruptor Beam Array Mk XI [Acc]x3

or

Disruptor Beam Array Mk XI [Acc]x2 [CrtH]

This will work because if you're searching for Very Rare ones, the hybrid weapons won't ever have more than 2 mods and you're searching for 3. It's a pain though because you need to know not only which mods you want, but how to abbreviate them and what order they appear in the item's name. Yes, the Exchange searching needs a total overhaul.

I just wish the exchange let me search for disruptors without nanite disruptors coming up.
I'm not interested in nanite disruptors or polarized disruptors, If I was I would search for them, I wish it wouldn't come up under disruptor search.

I find it easier just to type out the specific item I'm looking for. The categories are useless so I stick to 'all' and only really toggle the rarity filter. The OP is right though, when looking for Disruptor Dual Heavy Cannons MK XII all the nanite varients still pop up, no way to block them at all. You could easily waste EC buying the wrong equipment.

It's not annoying as such, it would just be nice if the search was more accurate.

The problem you are facing is there isn't a huge amount of regular disruptor ship weapons flooding the exchange atm. If nanite and polarized is popping up than odds are that is mostly what is available. Now you can try narrowing you search by price as well, as standard mkxii disruptor weapons may be going for higher EC costs than the others atm.
