The colour doesn't mean anything. In TOS, phasers varied between red in the early episodes to settling on blue for most of the show. TNG, phasers were orange, except when it was Cardassians, then it was more yellow.
Hell in DS9, polaron weapons were blue and in STO they're purple.
Think in an episode of enterprise the Columbia( think that was the ships name) had rear orange phaser while the front was green.
Since when did that ship have phasers?;)
I'm very sure it wasn't green. In that episode (Divergence) they were fighting a D5 and a pri of BoPs and the D5 was not only firing green pulses but also green beams.
this is off topic as it wont let me create a new thread for some reason, but in the friday screen shots there is pics of a romulan veteran republic dress uniform and the same but admiral uniform, anyone know how these will be obtainable?

You either need to be be a Lifetime Subscriber to STO, or be a Gold subscriber that has been subscribed for 200 days for the Veteran Dress uniform and 900 days (? I think?) for the Admiral uniform.
Sorry but I dont see blue disruptors, there is a closeup when it fires on the Valdore were they are green with a yellowish trait.
We dont need the full color of the rainbow, the Andorian Phasers were ridiculous enough.
Well some of them really look blue, especially at 1:02 in the clip you linked when the shots from the Scimitar break apart the Valdore's wing. Some shots are blue, others are green/dark green so I guess it's what you make of it.
It would be nice to have the blue disruptors as an option for the Reman chars.
On the other hand, it is certain that the Reman ground disruptors were in fact distinctively blue and those Reman rifles would be a nice adition for the Reman chars. in STO.
They could start by fixing the weapons hard points because I am tired of seeing then comming from were they shouldnt ... its also like the ship doesnt lack hard points to use either.
Not too likely we'll see that happen given there's very little incentive for them to do that. Well unless all those posts you keep writing finally drives them up the wall and they're like fine we'll fix it just to shut you up. Then two days later someone will be like hey I liked it the way it was change it back.:P
Regardless there is no evidence there was anything as "Reman Disruptors" as it was never references as such on screen, on script or visual, the Andorian Phasers are long stretch but they have strong visual evidence to back up the unique FX but Reman? No ... there is none.
I think you missed the point. Re request was essentially for some nice blue disruptors, so you can accurately equip a ship to match the masses of blue disruptor shots we know it fired in the film. The OP erroneously inferred there was a distinction between the species weapons tech, and went on to rant about other silly things.
Anyway, both the kumari and Galor have had special weapons that allowed you to correctly represent the armament in game.
The Andorian phasers also let you equip your Jem'Hadar ships correctly :P

The reman disruptor effect in nemesis is actually white flair almost light purple with a white lens flair. It looks blue or blue green due to the light - fx in the different zones. if you need better reference look at the reman ground weapons in the movie and the scorpions disruptor beam as picard blast out the door to flee the ship.

Maybe you saw something like this when both ships were in the same frame.
I rewatched the scene and what I saw was return fire from one of the bops when they were fighting near each other.
Enterprise and Columbia Only had Phase Cannons Phasers had not been invented yet
Vice Admiral Volmack ISS Thundermole
Brigadier General Jokag IKS Gorkan
Centurion Kares RRW Tomalak

Or anyone who unlocked a Reman can get blue Disruptors, as well as ground Reman Disrutpotrs from the movie to buy in the Dil store.
Quite a few of the scimitars shots in that video look distinctly blue.
And what exactly is ridiculous about the andorian phasers? They match the ones seen in the series.

The Scimitar fired green and blue blobs...is it possible the blue ones were actually the torpedoes?

Irrelevant. The ship in question fired blue. They allow us to fire blue. It's a nice choice for anybody that wants their ship to look right.
