Devil's Choice: Under the Radar glitch

Thought I'd post this here. When I started this mission I go through the rift, get into the Elachi ship and I have no controls. I can't move forward or throttle up. I can't see my station controls. For me, there is no way to continue with this mission or the missions after it.

I've checked my controls, I've restarted the game, I've exited the mission where I get my normal ship and normal controls again. Restarting the mission only has the same problem. I can only pitch up and down left and right and activate some of my powers even though I can't see which are which. I've included a screenshot.

This one drove me nuts. Press E to accelerate (check your keybinds if you changed them for the key to use).

This glitch must have happened after one of the recent patches. It didn't used to be like that when I leveled my first two Rom faction toons, but I leveled a third one yesterday and experienced the same glitch with the missing HUD/UI.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."

Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.

Wait do people actually change the throttle with mouse clicks and not by hitting "W" and "S"?

While annoying I just tapped R for full impulse and off I went.

Yesterday I played this mission and at the start, flying towards the Eleachi base I had a disabled HUD. Only the chat window was there. I could reach and enter the base by using my keyboard commands. Same thing was at hand when leaving the base and getting to the rift.

The rift anomaly itself looked strange, or bugged is better. At a certain distance/angle it was formed of large blocks; as if the pixels were enormously enlarged.

The mission in the base was ok, but I have a remark. My system can hardly handle this mission. Game sequency stutters a lot. My system might be the cause. It is not a high end game computer. But I also blame it on the graphical displays. There is this acid fog and then you have those fires. There is a lot of stuff that the screen and the system has to handle here. This mission is hardly playable for me. I mention it, because there is quite a contrast with my normal game experience. Overall STO runs pretty smooth for me and I am also happy with the quality of the graphics. I see no need to upgrade my system.

Well I can confirm that yes they altered this mission.

The rift pixel problem I see as well....they did something to the rift and made it kind of poor graphics.....

Also the console not displaying I see that too....but I figured that was done because that mission had a tendency to mess up your buttons and your own ship station layout after you did it.

anywise....I noticed it wont let you go full throttle anymore either...and extra text was added by your crew as you approached the station.

So I guess this post is to confirm the issues....and confirm it was changed.

Power without Perception is Spiritually useless and therefore of no true value.

    =^_^=

Noticed that this evening when I ran it for the first time since Legacy of Romulus was released. Yeah, pretty much used the keyboard and got through it okay but also agree the pixelation issue with the Rift was a little horrific to look at.
