Why do they keep lying to us and a lie of omission is a lie. The new one is that they have randomised the Kerrat Spawns. My problem is not that they have done this as it stops spawn camping although I will miss spawn ganking lol. However they should tell us about everything they are changing in the patch notes. It seems to me that they are just testing how gullible the community is and what they can slip in unnoticed!
I think they tried to fix this problem a couple of patches ago (with patch notes) but it didn't take, so it looks like they've fixxed the fix with this patch.
- AP space weapon sounds were changed. Not sure why...
- A new inventory feature fades items that cannot be equipped or used when viewing different tabs on the status window. *Edit: In the notes apparently. :P
Well, not exactly horrible changes, but undocumented.

OMG! They stealth nerfed the ability to spawn camp in a PvP zone?! The horror - how dare they do something that curves an unwanted player behavior without announcing it so the griefers affected can rage on the forums about it and get it reversed...oh, wait.
(Seriously, if it doesn't affect an actual valid game mechanic, power or in game service like game mail - who cares if they announce it or not. I you really don't mind it, what's the issue. you want them to announce when they do server OS patches (like say LINUX or Microsoft patches) to the STO server farm too?)

This --^ There has also been plenty of Dev posts by JHeinig about it.

You want them to tell you when they take a coffee break and how they drink their coffee as well?
If they were to list every single change, every list of patch notes would be bigger then a fricking bible.

^This made me lol :P Though to be fair I don't mind all that much, I did at first but then I wandered what the point was usually as most the changes seem to be aesthetic or working versions of previous patch notes.

I no longer do any Bug Hunting work for Cryptic. I may resume if a serious attempt to fix the game is made.

Did you read my post? I was not complaining about the actual change it is certainly a positive one but there have been other stealth changes lately that have not been positive!

It's in the notes: Nonequippable items in the inventory are now dimmed when the status window is open.
Cheers,

Thank You for the Input Brandon we would just like to be kept in the loop, even if you say achieved goals outlined in previous patch notes and then link to the relevant change. Sorry I didn't see it in the Dev blogs I don't tend to read them.
You won't like what else they stealth nerfed... TOUR OF THE UNIVERSE. It now has a FOUR HOUR COOLDOWN when you drop it. Anyone else thinking about leaving STO for good now? This level of greed is truly unprecedented.
Stealth nerfs for the win. Tbh I don't see why they didn't even mention that. It was a good change since the cluster**** of spawns at the same time was fairly annoying.

I don't care.... they did that because peeps were doing part of it dropping it and starting over again. This way you have to actually complete the mission....
Chuffed to see Tour the Universe has been tampered with... I've only just started using it as a viable means to earn EC two days ago and this happens. I doubt we'll see better loot drops to include MK XII Consoles that most of us have to grind to save up for in the exchange.

That second one is mentioned in the notes

ramdom is a formula rotating number, but most of the time it is short formula with a repeat and not hard to learn.
so enjoy the peace while it last

It really adds to the look of them.
