The a.i for the pets has not been improved.
They are still flying to the other side of maps but now you can not respawn them.
They are still lagging miles behind your ship, so now instead of respawning them you have to wait for them to catch up:(
They are still getting killed most of the time by warp core breaches.
This patch is a disaster. At least make it so we have the option to respawn even if there are active ships.
