Galaxy- R Saucer Separation

i remeber quite some years ago, that the galaxy saucer had the ability to fire a torpedo. what ever happened to it? did cyptic get read of it before they went p2w? or is it bugged out?

    some say it has a rear torp bay but i haven't seen any prove of that. so a saucer only has 4 phaser arrays no torps. again saucer not really meant for combat on it's own, defend itself yes.

    Yeah I came across this photon torpedo launcher detail when researching the Galaxy class.


    What I don't understand is why don't they devs do the same level of detail research they did for the Vesta for all the other class starships?

    thats the thing guys, it really used to fire in game, both phasers and torps. hell it even randomly used high yield torp too. i guess it was just another nerf they ( cyptic) put in..
