PvE Team Channel

There are STF channels for doing STF missions, but the PvE Team channel allows every PvE mission. The channel was created on 7/21/2013 so currently there aren't many members there, but if you join you will help that it will grow to ensure that there are enough members that can join your PvE missions.

How do I join?

Either enter the command /channel_join "PvE Team" or open chat settings, go to channels, type PvE Team and press enter. The channel is public, you don't need an invite.

How do I find players for my PvE missions?

It is recommended to say LF<Number>M <PvE> <Keyword>. An example would be LF4M The Vault: Ensnared Team and everyone who wants to join the mission says Team. If Team is full just say Team is full.

How do I team with players?

It is recommended to create privates in order to fill your team since you technically can't "team" (teaming via right click to create a team) a Federation player with a KDF player, unless your PvE mission only supports one faction.

Which PvE missions are allowed?

Every mission (with no exception) which is in the PvE queue window, both ground and space.

Are STFs allowed?

Yes, they are also PvE missions, but the primary focus should be other PvE missions since there are already STF channels.

Are other missions allowed?

You can team for all kind of missions that are aren't PvP, but again the primary focus should be the missions in the PvE queue window.

Is discussion and help allowed?

Yes.

Good idea,

I see people asking on occasion on PESTF and prefer if they keep games to rep missions, STF's, fleet mark missions, rom, nukara (basically whatever's in the PVE team Q's)

I'll update the PESTF channel info sticky to direct guys here if you like, might help you out.

I presume people usually source fleet guys or solo it but the benefits a game wide channel are obvious, I'm surprised no one has done so before....there's no other i know of anyways

If looking to grow the channel, I'd advise looking into adding the channel to the stowiki channel list since its a public channel, really helped me when setting up PESTF....

Hmm looks like it needs to have at least 100 members to get the PvE Team channel into that list. The channel doesn't have that many members yet since it was only created a few days ago.

Hope it will get more members soon to ensure a wide amount of games within it! Come and join, we even have Gorns!

I remember you always hosting STFs that go well, I'll sign up. KDF could use this especially.

the KDFdefera channel is meant for only teaming the required KDF-only teams

that includes defera, epohh tagging, fleet PvE, breaking the planet, the big dig, gorn minefield, mission accolades runs, etc where cross-faction teaming simply isnt possible even with private queues. So the majority of the PvE

the KDFdefera channel is more of an special interest (in KDF) channel where yours would inherently be more fed focused just due the population and activity differences. I have asked for the majority of PvE to be made cross-faction (no reason why fed and kdf enemies could not become Tal Shiar in Big Dig, Mine Field and Breaking the Planet for example)

Would love to join, but I have already reached the maximum number of channel subscriptions, which is stupidly low.
