We (Division Hispana) are always looking premades for practice, pugstomp in queques gets boring after a while.
Great we think the same, pm us sometime to get a match going. We could use the practice.

What's your handle and what fleet are you in? Nova Core is regularly looking for other teams to battle.

In the same spirit, you guys (or any fleet/team) can contact me to schedule a match against Nova Core or just for an impromptu private match. Even if I don't have enough of my fleet on I can usually get a pugmade from my friend's list.

    Hi.
Omega-Flotte is also looking for premade matches..please contact @tbffo if you want a match against us. But my premade is not always online, so, if someone of my premade not online, i would orgenize some of our fleet friends from Inner Circle..
then, you're fighting against the Omega Circle Ponys of the Death :D

Nice! This thread is slowly turning into some sort of Cucumber sandwich, impromptu fleet group dating thread.

And I like that. Any other fleets out there want some lovin'? Speak out!

Could you imagine going into F vs F and only seeing actual Federation ships in there???

If you did it would be a noob fest which is sad.

Sad for us you mean. I remember when STO was at least pretending to be based on Star Trek, now we have a Rebel Alliance non faction. Maybe if the Fed HEC wasn't saddled with that third ens tac I wouldn't feel so gimped when I fly it. yeah, yeah, you can do stuff with it but I don't want to, I would rather have a utility sci power instead.

As it stands my main flies a temporal destroyer. Future MU is about as close to the federation as one can get these days....

I felt like this was Star Wars from the beginning. It is just a combat rpg without much in the way of diversity of roles, play that is more like labor, and a game that isnt all that fun.

I have to admit when i log in I farm efficiently, keep rep going, and all in the hopes of a future where the game is playable and I am keeping my toons current.

Last week I played an hour, which I used to log an hour every day at least. Similiar to Ultimatum, there are toons I will never play again because of rep grind and therefore I will not purchase another escort or science ship again, unless they come with Rep points attached to them.

I wonder when their rep system content punt will become an obvious drain on their revenue. But then again being nearly a sole PvP for fun, PvE to support PvP habit I might be out of touch with their target audience. I wouldn't mind if they never released another feature mission, just let us do foundary missions and they focused on ships, gear, characters, and ability balance.

With Star Trek being a great hit they didnt need a lot of thought to sell the product so STO is lazy in that sense and there has been no development hustle or effort shown to get things in quality. The obesity of the game will make it impossible to correct when the downward slide is seen assuming steps are properly identified to improve STO. Content is not necessarily improvement, just more adipose around the midsection.

Like Orondis said I have seen the pvp fleets all pugging a lot to. More fun to pug and run into another pug then to fight team of all temporal ships running 4 or 5 TIF, maybe that's whats killing premades, they tired of running into other premades doing stuff like that, its not fun. A week or 2 ago my fleet was in a match with another fleet like that and I spent almost half the time in TIF or hit with the SS doff. I pugged C&H the next match and actually spent most of the match pew pewing instead of stuck doing nothing, way more fun.

Unfortunately, this has been my experience. Currently, our fleet more or less groups to have fun - just like pugmades. We don't have builds that complement each other, and most of the time, are not on TS. We just group up for C&H or arena, etc. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but to me, I don't care as long as it is fun.

Just yesterday, we ran across another fleet, and we happened to win that time. The other fleet wanted a rematch in 5 minutes, so we waited around, and fought them again. They came back with a bug ship and spammed TIF with the ships they changed into. Of course we lost badly - we didn't change our loadout, we just play for fun.

Many times I pug, and run across premades with 4-5 timeships spamming TIF, chronitons, nukara mines, SS, etc. This is why I don't like to do premade battles... to me, that's not fun.

I miss the days when people just ran their own unique builds for fun, rather than having to load up serious team builds to go out and crush pugmades.

Private premade matches are the most interesting aspect of this game. I almost never turn down a request. Just send me a tell. When I don't have an Inner Circle team, I look through my friends list and create one.

This attitude made it possible for me to take part in a ****load of matches, sometimes even doing 5 or more privates a day.

I can tell from experience, that this game still has a fair amount of active premades, it is not significantly lower than lets say half a year ago.

Of course they are some hurdles that prevent Premade privates to happen:

    1. Timezones. A lot of premades are active only in relativly small time frames, rendering certain match-ups nearly impossible to occur. Damn shame.

    2. Not enough members in one's precious premade. Now there are some fleets who entertain the notion that having 5 PvP'ers are enough. My god, you couldn't be more wrong! You need more men.

    3. Reputation grind. People grind instead of pew.

    4. Summer time in europe. Great weather here!

    5. Spam. Dear premades, stop the spam, have more fun.
