We've added 5 new screenshots to the screenshot gallery. Information about the upcoming Romulan Veteran Rewards will be posted in a Dev Blog next week.

    I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
    I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.

    Wow! I really like these new uniforms (the ships/shipskins are cool too)!

    Seriously, those are cool (I especially like the Veteran Republic (non Admiral)) in those pictures!

    Not to get down but:

    1) I sure hope they aren't broken (like many of he other Romulan uniforms are, especially when it comes to color pallets).

    2) I really wish KDF had similar vet uniforms. Feds and now Romulans have an Admiral's jacket... KDF NPCs have them. Shiny metal shoulder pads and demi-capes are well and cool and all, but I really wish I could get a proper long KDF jacket on my KDF toons.

    Edit: Actually reconsidering... It's been so long that I'm not sure I remember, but don't the Feds get the Admiral jacket via rank-up (L40 or L45?), not actually Vet Reward?

    the vet skin on all the ships is really cool looking, and both of the new vet uniforms are great, all romulan uniforms have just been awesome. cant wait to take my vet ship for a spin too!

    Would be nice if you guys at cryptic could fix the tribble Veteran status bugs, so that we may actually test these out.

    The Republic Admiral uniform isn't worthy of being qualified as "Veteran" to be a peer to the Jupiter uniform. It doesn't meet its benchmark of quality.

    At best, it's an analog to the Admiral jacket Federation characters get when they turn level 40, and this republic Admiral uniform should be offered in the same fashion.

    The formal dress makes a fair 200 veteran outfit, but for the 900-day veteran uniform, the Romulans ought to get something that's an improvement on the faction-aligned uniforms, rather than something that's a step down from them.

    I saw a picture in that first massively article of a reman with a cool cap standing next to a scimitar thalaron generator. Any info or screenshot in regards to that costume piece? I really liked how that looked I hope its a reman vet uniform piece it looked like what shin on wore in nemesis.

    And how much time is going to pass until you guys bug this new uniforms and gets forgotten like so many others?

    Just a few examples:

    Awesome job Cryptic! Really fan-tastic job on the Veteran rewards for Romulans.

    Just in time for me too. I just turned 1000 days subbed on the 18th. Sweet!

    Ok, so I did remember correctly, that the Feds got an Admiral's jacket at L40, and there are separate Vet uniforms for 200 and 900.

    Indeed! And I didn't even know about the TNG bottoms, I'll have to check mine out. :(

    Anyway, I'm double-bummed about these bugs because not only am I having to "suffer" (Oh woe is me! Yeah, I know, first world problems) :rolleyes: through them, but I'm also missing out because I really like the TNG Romulan uniforms (rickeyredshirt posted some great shots here), and I'm not paying another dime on costumes (or anything in this game) until they finally stomp some of these critters.

    It's just frustrating seeing more new/neat stuff be released (either C-Store or Vet) and the "old'n'busted" stuff just keeps getting older'n'busteder...

    Pretty sure you are correct.

    Personally, i'd like to see a new KDF Veterans jacket, as well as a "Odyssey style" FED Veterans jacket, and/or Dress Uniforms.

    I do like the 200-day uniform. But please do note our Bug Report thread on them before pushing them to Holodeck? The VA coat is an attractive extension of the Republic uniforms.

    Allready toyed around on tribble with the Formal Uniform and combadges so no suprise for me.

    Until i seen the Admirals Coat omg. While the FED one just look's plain funny and Clips at all ends with kits should you have the urge to show em the Romulan totaly blast me away.

    The coat's look is classy has some steampunk fealing to it, love it. Now we just need some steampunky Plasma weapons to match it, maybe even a little more bits and pieces we can add to it like arm attachements, bandoliers and such? ;)

    Veteran Skin wwell not a fan of to much blue feals to much FED i would have loved to see a more darker sinister typ of material like the Fleet Warbirds have.

    Keep up the awesome Sauce work.

    i saw a romulan veteran admiral outfit but could we have just an admiral outfit to (i don't meen the admiral shoulder pads).

    Huh, not that it doesn't look nice, but I kind of expected more from the Admiral's Uniform. As it is, it looks just like a modified Long Winter Coat. Still, pretty nice rewards to be honest. I'll even go as far as to say they're far better looking than what FEDs get, not to mention the KDF.

    Still... regarding the KDF - it's funny how Romulans, who've been in the game for about two months, seem to have way more costume options and veteran rewards than Klingons after over three years... While FED and ROM get two costume options, the KDF get shoulderpads and later on some gauntlets and a cape... But I guess they're still not worth the dev's time and efforth, considering even their existing costumes have been bugged for ages now.

    While overall I have definitely been a bit disappointed in STO over the last few years, including the recent LoR expansion, that Talon Scout got me excited.

    The Defector is one of my all time favorite episodes of television. :D

    Those boots and gloves look interesting.

    I hope they apply to the Starfleet/KDF Liberated Borg Romulan Science Officer, since I've been wanting some better costume options for gloves and boots for her.

    But since the C-Store Romulan specific costume I purchased added additional options for her, it's reasonable to expect that the Romulan Veteran Rewards will do the same, even if she's technically not part of the Romulan
    faction.



    And Suaveks, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for any kind of KDF costume update.
    There's one specific issue I've given up reminding Cryptic to fix regarding a specific KDF BOFF and the tailor.
    Short version, even though said BOFF is 100% customizable, the bug prevents you making any changes whatsoever, essentially locking the BOFF to default appearance.

    So I got the impression they just don't care enough to fix KDF Tailor bugs.
    Or update KDF costumes.

    Don't hold your breath on this if you talking about a Liberated Romi Lobbiy BOff that is in service to a None Republic Cpt. Those Uniforms unlock for the Cpt and can be used for BOffs aswell so if you ain't a Republic Cpt. chances are that you won't get the unlocks.

    Still there is a Chance to test it. Just look on a Republic toon if your FED or KDF BOff's may have the None republic vet and admiral costumes as a valid option then chances ain't bad.

    Me can't test it myself out of the fact that i only use highly trained personal and None of those underperforming inferior Starfleet or KDF Officers .

    I did test it, well, as far as I could.

    To clarify, I don't have a Romulan Faction Captain.

    But as an experiment, I created a disposable Romulan character, bought the TNG uniform and deleted the character.

    I then went to my Starfleet Captain and looked at the Romulan LibBorg Sci costume options.

    TNG options had been unlocked, even though the BOFF was not part of the Romulan Faction.

    So, I assume it will work the same way with the Veteran uniforms as well.
    But I'll only know for certain when the costume is released.

    As to why it works for a BOFF that doesn't belong to that faction, my theory is that this BOFF is designed to use the Romulan Faction uniform templates, not the Starfleet or KDF templates and hence, that's why she's using costume options not available to these factions.

    Love the look of the ships and ship material. I'm glad the Romulan Republic Dress Uniform comes with a skirt option for my female Boffs but the Admiral Coat is just as ugly as the Fed Admiral Coat.

    I now have the Romulan veteran rewards and the costumes could indeed be used on the Romulan Liberated Borg BOFF.

    Good news for me then, since that means every Romulan costume update can be applied to her, even if I don't have a Romulan character.

    At least I'm finally getting some use out of that faction now!
