Consular assignment chain stuck (was: Dear Cryptic)

Since the patch from the -then new- consular assignment chain, my main kdf doffer has got an assignment slot stuck.
My call for support was first handled with some automated reply like ; "please make sure you have room in your duty officer roster, etc". (Pretty "funny" to read that as a doffer.)
After that it was handled in terms of "we are looking into it"
My support ticket was marked as resolved and i got some semi-automated apology in a mail.
At that point I stopped spending money on this game and after another more disturbing support debacle, I decided to quit this game.
Now with the Romulan expansion, I returned and thought ; "heck, its over a year now... surely it's fixed".
But no, it still isn't.
If its any help for you, i repeat once more that the broken assignment slot problem is a database issue according to our dear departed Heretic. I realise that bugs who do not alarm over 90% of the playerbase, do not have your priority, but hey ; it's been a while now, hasn't it ?
Pretty please with sugar on tops ; please look into it. I realy don't care if you have to delete all my ongoing assignments or something like that. Surely by now, you have some kind of tool to free up bugged inventory, reputation and other slots ?
