Surprise Attack Tournament #3 : 10 pm EST

HAIL! Those familiar with my recent endeavor into impromptu tournaments will appreciate another installment of SurpriseAttack- style party!

To those unitiated, the concept is a PUGGERS QUARREL Let you stand on your own fleet and not the backs of your fleet/ team.

A schoolyard pick up game style of team selection leaves no one crying op or cheese in the end. I think it was near universally agreed an astounding success in concept and execution (we can go faster this time).

The Protocols

1. Post here to sign up or send me a message in game or using SurpriseAttack chat channel, i will continuously update the list of active players to be drafter as I get the info. (Prospective Captains Please Refer to this post for the list come game time)

listing : Your name, ship and captain type, a BRIEF synopsis (eg: Emoe, tac spike Tvaro torp/beam)

the more u write great, im only going to list a summary in the main post to avoid clutter. and ill call it as i see it (no trying to play yourself down as a non threat! i know you!)

2. Prospective Captains ( people interested in being a team leader, and drafting from the pool) Will use emote die roll to determine order of draft and tournament seed.

3. Draft in order of roll from list on this post of active players.

I cant help but toot my own horn, anyone who knows me knows im out for a good time and to be honest if the last tournaments were an indicator i have found a surefire method for some DAMNED good games. The last two tournaments i literally pulled out of my butt in no time notice had them in 1 hour of idea. I had 4 teams in each one. I wanna see 20 teams. I wanna see EVERY SINGLE PVPER WHO EVER CARED ABOUT PVP IN THIS GAME!

So get your butt in the "SurpriseAttack" chat channel in game, post here a description of your captain/ship, and style (pleae only one toon/ship per player Bring your "best" (equip/experience/ favorite), and be ready at 10pm (945 if u wanna be a team leader)

Many of u may have played in a big pvp 10v10 over the years, some of you may have been in a boot camp pick up game or a no bs tournament. In the spirit of successful OPVP sponsored community events past and future, I implore YOU ALL to join this tournament for a jolly old time.

stay tuned for infinite chat spams all day till 10pm tonight. SurpriseAttack detected! PREPARE!!!!!!!!!!

    there is a chance u wont be picked, some people werent picked, to increase ur chances dont bring eng, bring sci, as usually have a million tacs. but hopefully we have enough people to increase the number of teams this time, works well at 4 8 or 16 teams. anyway hope u join friend

    Interesting. I would only be able to attend for an hour (10 to 11pm EST), but I would be interested. Thanks for hosting this :)

    As for eng, that's what I fly mainly for team heals, but I also have a PvP ready sci too.

    good luck in ur hax made chunk harder. i added u to the list stardestroyer
    play as long as u can! the tournament has a completely open policy on replacements. we didnt have any problems last time comign up with people on the spot

    i put your first listed toon. please only put one toon to avoid confusion. To be truthful both tournaments winning teams had an eng. look forward to it! it can be a 1v1 if no one else shows up but we got 10 hours lol

    I should be getting home around that time so count me in. Something may come up between now and then so if you don't see me on STO around start time just remove me from the list, but I should be there.
