Seriously though, I am so sick of ships. I want something else for once.
I agree, so many other NON-ship things can be improved. Those improvements will benefit all three factions.
One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.
Devs will go where the money is..for those of you who have been around for a while know this...not sure why some of you continue to live in your magical land of 'Hope Cryptic finally does what I want'
Feds are the breadbasket. They will milk that cow as long as theres utters to pull on.
Uh, yeah, no kidding bub. LOL if it bothers you to see people ask for non-Fed ships, but your displeasure isn't going make people like myself abstain from posting our opinions on what we want.

Don't read it.
i agree to that!
newsflash if it says FED in the title klingons ned not apply. clearly you are just here to cause trouble and start a general ruckuss. Quit behaving like naussicans, either add something useful and helpful or troll your own shipyards.
Inertia just means you can do Powerslides in you carrier!

You, Federation, do not get to tell us where we post. We will post where we wish.
As for new Federation ships. . .let me just point you to this little stat: There are 39 T5 KDF ships, and 61 T5 Federation ships. . .and you REALLY think you actually need more toys?
Start thinking about more than your own faction for once, please.

The same could apply to you. Don't like us Klingons demanding that we be treated like an equal faction? Don't read it. We're still going to post our opinions on it.
They repeatedly mentioned a "Founders of the Federation" 3-pack they were thinking about in a few podcasts, featuring a Vulcan, Tellarite and Andorian ship.

To be fair though, the Federation are the core of Star Trek, and always will be. Plus, they have more design variations. Klingon ships tend to be really similar in design, so there's not much for the developers to play with.
I also believe that in terms of players, the Klingons have the least characters.
My only request is that the Ambassador is released as a C-Store, T5 ship with the Andrew Probert costume variant.

The Federation needs upgrades to existing ships to match the power creep the klingons and romulans have over the cstore federation ships which is HUGE
New ships should be klingon imo
Jellico....Engineer ground.....Da'val Romulan space Sci
Saphire.. Science ground......Ko'el Romulan space Tac
Leva........Tactical ground.....Koj Romulan space Eng
JJ-Verse will never be Canon or considered Lore...It will always be JJ-Verse
I'm just wondering when it will come out because I got some zen to spend and right now I already have the ships i wanted.
Any ideas?
Here's a question for you....
How many ships do you want?
20? 30? 175?
As it is you can easily have 30 decent FED ships in your lineup assuming you want to buy that many slots. I'm just wondering when people demanding new ships might finally be satiated so Cryptic can focus on actually making the game better, not just a well stocked Ship Store.

So realistically, you only need to have the exact number of doffs that you need. ~leadme2kirk
While there are plenty of Federation ships to choose from, one thing that's missing is a fleet-quality carrier - a Starfleet vessel, not a scambox prize of some alien configuration.
Buying the Atrox isn't a very alluring option, since it's outperformed by newer ships. A fleet Atrox or something of similar performance would get me to visit the C-store.
My only request is that the Ambassador is released as a C-Store, T5 ship with the Andrew Probert costume variant.
+1 for that suggestion.
That Ambassador variant is a absolute beauty (unlike most of Cryptics "cool" ship designs), i would buy that ship costume in an instant.
But we all know even if they would decide to release it they would make that model horribly wrong, lol.

but i say when can i buy more Ship Slots i am out of free Slots;
- 38 and why my other cpt has 44 and the one with 38 already is at max with 38 and not 44?
cant buy a new T4 Fleet Ship because no room for it and no normal ship like the normal Enterprice-C that i can replace with the Fleet Version of the same Ship
18 Cpt on the way to 60: 14 of them are already 50 or over 50, one is 60 and 3 almost 43

STO is in the business of selling 3 main things.
Ships
Master Keys
DOff Packs
Pick your poison, but that's what cryptic will always be focusing on.

It really is a great looking ship (much better than the "actual" Ambassador).
I don't know about that. Recently, Cryptic's art team has been pretty good at creating models. Romulan D'Deridex, Scimitar, Vesta, they all look as they should. If only they could go back and fix the Galaxy-class models.

Right, because the Klingons have massive battleships, older, low-slung nacelled battlecruisers, swing-wing BoPs and more, and the Federation has two-nacelled ships with a secondary hull and a saucer.. who has more design variation, again?
Pick your poison, but that's what cryptic will always be focusing on.
You're right, to a very large extent
Its the least amount of work for the highest payout. Developing content takes a significant time investment (more cost) and takes longer to recoup (unless it is a charged Expansion).
I am often confused by the New Ship requests... you want to do the same content... just in a different ship, and this makes you happy? SMH (not directed at you ulti), same goes for costumes, and ship interiors.
When they've made more ships for the other factions to equal the huge amount more that the Fed side has over the Roms and KDF.
Star Trek is about the Federation.
Stomping all the bad guys.
Next Gen lamely made all the bad guys good guys and gave us Space Zombies.
So a Star Trek MMO, while catering to those good/ bad guys prefering players, will inevitably produce more of everything for the Federation as they are THE purpose of Star Trek and not just a monster race money grab.
There is no "balance" here that they have to observe as any non Federation resource is a courtesy, not a right. As such I think Cryptic has been more than accomodating.

I do not accept this when it comes to STO. I do not CARE whether the show is disgustingly human-centric in a universe where the Federation comprises over 150 different species. That's a failure of human society, being unable to bond with anything 'non-human'. It does not have to exist in STO. Other Star Trek games (non-MMO) have had equal treatment of the factions. . .one of the more successful ones (Starfleet Command 3) had three equal factions and a Borg faction, with multiplayer options.
What I do know is that there is a Klingon-enthusiast community out there, and Cryptic royally pissed them off with their mistreatment of the Klingon faction. It is time for Cryptic to truly address this, and not simply keep throwing out half-measures and weak, un-believed excuses. The main reason the KDF faction is so small is not because 'Star Trek is all about Federation', it's because Cryptic shat all over the faction and are still doing so in a way by not directing enough resources towards us. They are STILL taking the 'occasional leftover crumb' approach. On top of that, they keep watering down factional differences, giving people less reasons to bother playing KDF. . .but that's a different argument.

Ah, such arrogance from a supposed Federation fan.
So the existence of a Klingon faction is a 'courtesy'? The huge project of introducing the Romulan faction is a 'courtesy'? You are a fool if you think this is the case.
By my reckoning, the Federation has already received the bulk of attention over the last 3 years. You people are STILL holding your hands out and demanding new toys, as evidenced by the existence of this thread. You care nothing for having a balanced game, equal factions, and other things that make games such as this GOOD. You just want Cryptic to keep throwing shiny toys at you, everything else be damned.
Such selfishness and greed is unbecoming of supposed Federation fans.
I'm just wondering when it will come out because I got some zen to spend and right now I already have the ships i wanted.

Do I Need To Comment? *Points To The Gorn To The Side* KDF Has Not Gotten A "LvL 50 Ship" As in Brand Spaken new (NOT Fleet/Veteran) Since 2011 MAY With the Bortasqu'! And we ALL know how THAT ship went.... We will probally see A LOT more KDF ships before FED.... and that's only if Cryptic actually plans to even out the factions more... and let's just say the new KDF missions need some work as well...
EDIT___
In relations to the Fleets.... Everyone mostly gets it. FED/ROM/KDF... so in all it cancels each other out... plus in all general, it doesn't count at all because it is just raising status on a ship.

I hope STO get's better ...
