Nukara munitions 3-set and beam overload?

According to the tool-tip, it allows both FAW and BO to strike extra targets after impact, but Beam Overload isn't striking in it's overloaded state, instead it does regular beam damage.

Is this a bug or intended? I was placed in an assumption that my BO would strike extra targets as a BO, not a normal shot.

Don't get me wrong, it rocks even with FAW1, but expected more BANG for my Oveloaded buck.

If I remember my tests from Tribble right, I thought it was meant to fire another FAW or BO shot at the exact same time as the normal shot, on another target. Are you sure you aren't missing it on accident?

If so, that might just be all. On Tribble at least quite awhile back it did seem to work a-ok. Also keep in mind that it only works on the Hyper-Refracting DBB.

I'm sure you are, just mentioning it for the sake of completion.

But I'm open to the idea that it could possibly be bugged.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Very rarely I see 2 BOs fire at once, the rest of the the time (even though the targets are relatively close to each other and within weapon range) one BO fires and a short time after impact a "daughter" normal beam hits a nearby target.

I'd chalk it up as Hyper-refracting's effect, but on normal fire it only profs once in a while whereas that happens EVERY time a BO hits, unless it actually fires two.

I think the game is bugging when deciding when a beam special attack clones itself (like an extra BO or FAW) and when any beam attack "chains". It might only be guaranteeing the chance of a "chain" instead of firing 2 BOs as intended.
