Bug/Glitch in Arena.

Hey all.

Just a quick one.
Doing some FvF PvP arenas a couple of nights ago, for the most part it was ok but one particular battle just seemed wrong.
It did its usual twirling dogfight of doom to the top of the map, no biggy there, although a couple seemed unwilling to come down.
I noticed someone higher up than everyone else, I couldnt get level with him and he was constantly shooting at me yet when I had lock it wouldnt shoot, then I lost lock and couldnt lock back on, for all intense purposes, he was invincible.
I raised that he was glitching on Zone chat but I never got the opportunity to reply to his "How so?" reply. he warped out pretty sharpish and didnt come back.

Now Im not saying he did it on purpose but warping out after being told is a little suspect if Im honest.
Map was Cracked planetoid (I think).
Anyone else seen or heard of this?

You're kinda asking how someone "glitched" aka exploited. It'd be against the rules to answer you fyi.

No Im not asking how its done if you read the post rather than add you interpretation on to it.
Im asking if anyone has seen it or heard of it.
Thats it, no more no less.

I know exactly what it is you are talking about.

It's nothing new actually, and quite simple to do, though I would not say how in a post of course. I'm kinda not surprised it hasn't been fixed yet.

I've only done it once, quite by accident. It was more of a nuisance to me than a glitch/exploit, considering that it involves not being able to maneuver after that - everyone moved off, while I stayed stuck. I had to wait till someone moved back within range to get out.

At least I know I'm not going mental then.
There must be differing occurrences of the bug, the guy I saw didn't seem hindered at all.

For your information, you can get stuck on top of the map by accident without ill-intend in mind.

Yeah, I get stuck at the top sometimes

All you can do is hope to get killed, use Abandon Ship if you're below 50%, see if a TBR/PSW will shove you out, or try using Subspace Jump.
