If this isn't the forum for requesting game changes then excuse this post but not sure where else to put this.
I've found, and I think from reading through the forums this is the opinion of the majority, that the Tachyon Detection Grid which comes with a Nebula class cruiser is rather useless except for making pretty lights come off the ship's mission pod. I know I've never used it in PvE at least but perhaps it's a different story in PvP.
I suppose the chance of this being changed is rather low considering the Neb is a bit older ship in the game catalog but if there could be some way to change it I would suggest to change the benefits of this grid to provide a targeting or even +crit chance boost to all ships within range for 10-15 seconds with a corresponding three minute cool down. Not a HUGE overwhelming number obviously but a number that would make taking a console slot on the Neb worth it.
The other idea would be to have whatever sensor analysis bonus the Neb has be given to all ships in range for a brief period of time but the ships in range don't have to be targeting the same ship as the Neb.
