Late game content?

gylvangylvan Member Posts: 0
So.. I have a few charcters at level 50, i have ok equipment from doing all the reputation missions. One has a full loadout of tier 4 fleet stuff too. Now what? Whats the best late game content? There is no warzones in this game, no clan wars like in tanks. So what does one do with their high level toons?

There are warzones in this game, but probably not what you are thinking. They are PvPvE zones and not well-maintained by the developers.

    Things to do at endgame:

    1) Max out reputation (i.e. endgame leveling).

    2) Play any of the dozens upon dozens of high quality spotlight missions and other high quality foundry content.

    3) Do fleet events and help your fleet achieve full holdings.

    4) Do all the STFs on elite.

    5) Try out new builds/ships/et cetera.

    6) Become a master of ground and space PvP.

    7) Experience the unique gameplay of leveling all three factions and classes.

    8) Do any of the PvE content you missed, such as patrol missions, dailies, explore missions, et cetera.

    9) Create your own foundry mission.

    10) Complete all the accolades

    11) Max out all the DOFF catagories.

    12) Max out crafting.

    13) Complete all the special rewards from the featured episode reruns and holiday events.

You will pretty much never run out of stuff to do in endgame in STO and you can probably be trying new stuff for the better part of a year, but eventually the only thing that will be challenging and novel will be PvP, since it is a new game everytime.

I like ground in STO, mainly PvE, ground PvP just lacks that special something. If your looking for some ground PvP, i hate to say it, but SWTOR is where its at.

Personally i think ground PvP in STO needs a big overhaul, and we would see a whole lot me players in the Q's.

Most of STO hates ground, dont no why. I thinks it because players just dont have the skill for it, cuz it is not like space combat at all.

And although it is Star Trek and is mostly based in the Star Trek Universe, and is suppose to be mainly all about space.
But, at the same time for, i like the general look of an MMO on ground.

    Ummm...........

    1. Place 1 EC MK12 purple items on the exchange and pull them out at the last second.

    2. Have my Gorn do the Fan Dance at DSN in a Mankini.

    3. Put EXIT signs over Airlock doors.

    4. Park my ships outside the starting area and yell at passing Miranda's " You KHAAAAN do it! "

    5. Hug Klingon's. I like death sports.

    6. Start a conversation with someone then put my toon on the "Ponder " emote and go AFK.

    7. Complain about the Galaxy class, then buy one.

    8. Wonder why baldness and overweight engineers isn't cured in the 24th century when cancer is.

    9. Go to the Captain's Table and demand a menu.

    10. Get my Caitian to claw up the carpets in ESD.

    11. Pour milk over Branflakes to see if he really does stay crunchy.

    12. Pretend to be a NCP at ESD/First City and give false directions to Newbies. ( did that in every game I played =3 )

    13. While making a trade, stroke my Tribble and give a evil laugh.

    14. Send non-stop friend requests to Dev's.

Ah yes indeed. What he means is, Devs give you nothing fun to do (it's all grind/work) so you have to make your own. He also left out doing push-ups on Risian Vacationers while sunbathing.
