Odyssey 2 and 3 Piece Set Bonuses rather... Lackluster...

So after the most recent update, there was an addition to the Odyssey and Bortasqu 3 ship sets. At first it seemed like it was great, and that these ships would finally be brought back up to speed.
However... soon after I decided to actually try out my Odyssey, I put two of the pieces on, and then took it outside DS9. And then looked at the actual bonuses... and here they are:
Starship Hull Armor: +12
Starship Hull Plating: +12
Electro Plasma Systems: +12
Turn Rate: +0.5
...
Ooook. Seems alright. Until I realized it adds them to the SKILL ITSELF, not your actual resistance and EPS ability. Which meant that it translated to ~0.1% added resistance (which when I actually looked at my resistances when taking the pieces on and off, I saw no differences at all in my status bars), and +1 power to each EPtX. That alone was rather... saddening. Then I looked at the turn rate bonus. I figured that since I saw that on the ground, it would be weaker. And then I saw it in space. And guess what, still 0.5. Which makes almost no difference. Whatsoever.
The 3 piece bonus is nice however. Grav Well 3 and worker bees. For your chevron sep. Not bad. In fact, borderline decent. But the 2 piece bonus... just... I have no words for how... lackluster it is.
When compared to the 2 piece bonuses of other ships, it's just sad.

It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.

That's just entertaining.
Is it better than what existed prior? If yes, then ... ?
It is better in the sense that there is a 2 piece bonus now. But as for whether or not it's better than the original? I am not sure about that.
I will admit it's an improvement. But comparing it to newer ships, it's still disappointing. Not surprising mind you, but disappointing.
But I do think the turn buff should be more like 1-2 on both bortas and oddy sets and maybe a 5-8 buff on the skills since the changes to these skills is negligible(0.6)
