Anyone else notice this issue? It happens on both my Klingon and Romulan Toon. I will, for example, assign doffs so that there is 100% chance of success, 0% chance of failure (e.g.: Review Colonial Applications for the /name/ Nebula; I assigned a Quartermaster and chance of Success registered as 100%, chance of Failure registered as 0%, Mission Outcome: Failure). This also occurs when the chance regsitration is showing Critical and Success totalling 100% and Failure and Disaster chance showing as 0%.
If the chance of something is zero, that means it will "never" happen.
I've had it happen on two consecutive contraband missions, lost 10 of them. I really wasn't thrilled about that. I think the issue may lie in white common doffs being used, I seem to recall that I tried using them for those two missions, but that's only a guess, and I haven't really been willing to try using them again.
I concur. I just checked, everything's fine on my Fed char, but on my Klingon every single doff assignment failed, regardless of the chance involved. Even the basic colonial missions failed! And it also killed a very rare chain event...

"No. Men do not roar. Women roar. Then they hurl heavy objects... and claw at you." -Worf, son of Mogh
"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ
"That pig smelled horrid. A sweet-sour, extremely pungent odor. I showered and showered, and it took me a week to get rid of it!" - Robert Justman, appreciating Emmy-Lou
So it might be just a very unlucky coincidence that 15+ assignments failed? It really shed a dim light on my crew, after all. Even basic diagnose duty failed...

I've had it happen several times as well, its usually rounding errors in the pie charts you are shown.
Getting 15 failures on one log in is still the fault of the random number generator using one really terrible roll for all your doff assignments, on the plus side getting 15 criticals is awesome too.
like the i think its purp bio for the risa egg thing, if i assign him w 2 matching traits and a blue w one i get 18% i assign 2 blues with one each and get 20%, that is not a rounding error that is the whole system messed up.
nor all the missions where i have nil to fail just about and end up failing w purples, i thought i was the rng gods just being stupid, but i dont bother and i send w/e with much lower crit and much higher fail i tend to crit more and fail less.
the whole system seems to go haywaire with uber purples.

It's working how it should be and according to logic. The only requirement ist a Scientist, while "Biologist" is a success trait, efficient and logical are crit traits. If you slot a Biologist, it will always improve your success percentage and if the only thing that can be reduced is crit (due to the lack of failure or disaster) it will reduce crit.
The rest is just an issue about how much the various attributes are weighted and it seems that Doff professions are simply weighing more than traits or quality.
peaceful and seduction actually raising birds and if that is the case its "broken" to me if a purp and a blue for 3 matches gets a lower percent than 2 blues with 2 matches.

It works just fine with whatever color the BO recommended DOffs are.
DOff system needs fixing badly.

Afaik it's a rounding issue. Fractions aren't displayed, but rounded up or down. So your 100% and 0% might actually be 99.6% and 0.4%.
Yeah, the success/fail/etc chances are rounded. This is also why sometimes they don't seem to add up to 100%.

Execute them for incompetence!
A busy day for the waste disposal units XD
