Any word on when these fixes will go live?

I have a toon with the Flying High bug and cannot progress with that daily until it gets fixed. Also need some method to either catch up with everyone else, or extend the event otherwise there is not enough time for this toon to complete the activity.

I highly doubt they will extend the time for getting the ship. If anything they will just tell you that you can purchase the pearls for lobi crystals, even though this bug is their fault and has been around for some players since day 1.

Good example: The most recent Featured Series Rerun. In the last episode, Cold Storage, there was a mountain on top of the object that had the hidden lobi crystal from the beginning of the event preventing us from getting the lobi to complete the accolade. The event ran for about a month and they didn't fix it until the day before the event ran. The never extended the event for a week, even though there were many requests to do so, so people who had been waiting all that time for a fix could have a chance to get it. We only had 1 day to get the lobi and accolade and I'm sure at least a few players either gave up, or just weren't able to play that day, thus losing out on something that was their fault, reported multiple times, and asked about constantly. I was able to get the lobi and accolade on my characters that needed it, but I was pissed they didn't extend it for a week for others.

They don't take responsibility for their mistakes and don't cut us some slack when they do eventually fix it.

My best guess is this fix won't go live until Thursday July 11 at the earliest. So for those who have had the problem the whole time and not been able to complete the daily to get any pearls, you're all going to be screwed. There may be an uproar from those players that will go unanswered and ignored, as usual. And I think at this point, without the event being extended, when this fix goes live it will be too late to get the ship from doing just the daily since the event will have been live more than 10 days. And you only have 10 days you can miss to get the pearls.

It takes 25 runs to accumulate 1000 pearls, so 25 days. Even if they wait to patch the glitch till Thursday you should be fine and have a few days to spare.

As someone blocked by this glitch I share your concern.

Well ... hate to tell you, but the Corvette/Pearls is only available till the 2nd, despite the event lasting till the 15th ... (= Today : 24 days left) ... if you're doing it exactly every 20h it should still be possible, though ... = ~21 days, but without having days or even many hours to spare ...
Although the Risian Lohlunat Summer Festival will continue to be available well into August, Lohlunat Pearls will only be offered as a reward from ?Flying High!? for a total of 35 days, starting June 27th and running until August 2nd. During this time, players will need to participate 25 times in order to earn their FREE Starship.

Resolved an edge case that resulted in a very small number of players receiving a version of "Flying High" they could not complete.

If the edge case referred to players who let the mission idle in their journal more than 20 hours to play it back to back twice I would have prefered some DETAILS on that BEFORE I ran into it today.....

I cannot even test if it really is the issue because on all my copies the active flying high dissappears in the transition from holo to tribble.

I think this refers to those players who were unfortunate enough to only get one course to fly, repeatedly, not the 'over 20 hrs' thing.

It took me more than a couple of times to realize this was happening to me. (slow learner lol) I thought I was just bugged - everyone said to take the pack off and put it back on, relog, etc. It is very frustrating.

In one case I flew the course, forgot to report back to the event coordinator until the next day, and when I logged in the system said "you have dropped the mission" and I lost the pearls for that toon. I don't think they're considering this a 'bug', it seems to be by design.

But, I really feel for those people who have the bug that means they can't complete the mission at all. They're kind of past the point of no return, and had no (free) way to get the pearls at all, so I hope the bug is definitely fixed for them.

The dropping of the mission is by design. You only have a limited number of miniutes to run the courses and the timer starts when you activate your jetpack.

You could get the quest and log out without activating the pack and you should not have this problem though. Unlike most all the other missions in the game this one must be completed within a set time limit, 10-15 minutes i think, and if you go over you autofail it.

The bug is fixed now, but toons like mine who had the problem wont be able to complete the event now because there is not enough time. Does not sound like they are extending it or doing anything to correct anyone who was impacted.
