Are they really so much better than others available on the exchange? Or is it just a prestige thing to have a Dil Mine Warp Core?

They seem to have the stats of 1 purple Warp Core mk XI AND one additional white warp core of a different type. Together.

So, unless the selection isn't the best, I'd say yeah, useful.

Better to hold judgement on warpcores until we get MK XIIs.

Development Tier 1 gives advanced warp cores, development tier 3 gives elite warp cores. I know that as far as fleet gear is concerned that advanced is better than elite, so I have my doubts on this one.

Maybe so for engines and fed weapons. Not so for deflectors or shields (or in my opinion from the looks of them, warp cores)
Those unique bonuses on the elite cores look fantastic!

But with nothing else, each fleet warpcore gives the +5 max power +(0~15 power) to TWO systems, rather than one and then are available with other cool bonuses.

Where do I go to look at the stats for these new warp cores? Been cranking out all the engi doff missions to snag a good one but I would like to get a peek at the dil ones.

The good Warp Cores on the exchange go for millions of EC, 20k Dilithium and some Fleet Credits is a lot easier to get.

They appear to be from the preview I saw. Field Stabilising or Hyper Injection with a built in Overcharged. (Shield or Engine Boost & Auxillery.)

The unknown quality of cores are SO coveted that my fleet has decided to pre-provision enough cores for the whole fleet to get 1 each, rather than have some people wait while others receive. Waiting on completing the dil mine interior till a bajillion provisions are done first.

These have been already known to anyone who has leveled the dilithium mine to T1 on Tribble.

Can you confirm that the list is complete and there really are no Advanced Fleet Warp Cores with [W->A]?

There may be none at the moment but they could be added in later.

Today I met someone on ESD who claimed that they would exist, but I'm still a wee bit sceptical. And I'm never going to rely on Cryptic "adding something later". Crafting has been waiting for years.

Advanced warp cores are of no importance. Just go directly for the elite ones. And those are great, especially with the [AMP] mod.

Fleet gear is better than exchange gear. There is a reason it cost so many resources to obtain access in the first place.

The sooner people realize that, the sooner we will be better off.

Going to disagree here. The advanced MK XII cores are better than any MK XII on the exchange. In some cases, Advanced gear trumps Elite Fleet anyways, especially the weapons

Well, since I am at the moment the only one actively building the fleet holdings (the other remaining member has the luxuries of life and wife) I probably will never get there, so the question for me is if there is an advanced warp core that fits my playstyle or if I stick with one from the exchange.

Edit: Just got it confirmed that there are none at advanced level, only on elite.

    Not all of it.

I'd take Disruptor Dual Heavies [CrtH]x3 over [Acc]x2[Dmg]x2 personally. Not enough to justify the stupidly high cost of CrtHx3 cannons and turrets, but I still would. They'd be better for PvE in 99% of cases where we're all in overflow acc anyway.

and [acc]x3 better than [acc]x2[dmg]x2 for PvP.

    So yeah, you're wrong.

Except for the fact we get Advanced cores a week after we get the holding, and elite cores at least a couple of months. Why wouldn't you chuck 50k fleet credit and 20k dil to get one?

That's a no brainer to me, the advanced cores are way better than the purple mk X core I currently have and I look forward to buying one tomorrow.

The advanced warp cores are awesome. Just get an advanced one and when you eventually get a T3 mine, then get an elite one. Why see yourself off, when it will take weeks to get the elite ones, and thats if you are even in a strong fleet at all?

I love how people always say, "dont bother getting something of a lower type, just wait for the best version". Why? The advanced warp cores are excellent and are still Mk XII. I can run my Galor at full weapons AND shields using one of them, without popping anything. Thats not to be sniffed at.

If you like them, get one, if not then don't. They really aren't that expensive anyway.

The Advanced cores are awesome, and I did get one, but they're pretty limited in variety. There aren't any with the [Trans] mod, for example, even though there are Elite cores with that.

    Right now I have;

Hyper Injection Warp Core Mk X
    [Coi] [E->S] [SCap]
    +7.5 additional engine power
    +5 maximum engine power
    +15 starship driver coil
adds 7.5% of engine power to shield power as bonus power
    +235.1 shield regeneration
+15 shield power setting for 10 seconds
    repairs disabled shields

So...another day till I have access to the Dil Mine Cores, is there one available that is comparable to the one I currently have? Or should I just stick with what I got now, maybe go for a Mk XII ? I really dig the shield boost, as my hull folds like origami. And I'm guessing that 20K Dil in my pocket is enough to get a core?
