Apparently the Odyssey Set now gives enhanced engineering with 2 pieces and now gives enhanced chevron separation with 3. Has anyone found any info on what this enhanced chevron separation is all about?

Hmm, stealth buff. Looks like the three-set bonus gives the Chevron its own Work Bees and GravWell III power.

Huh, I wondered why the Chevron hasn't died by the 1-minute mark. Looks like this happened.

The same happened to the Bortas. Now the Hoh'sus has its own autocannon and Attack Pattern Beta I.

Nice, now if the Aquarius and the Hoh'Sus (?) could get a little attention, and maybe let us off the leash of the ridiculous lock out that keeps us from using both saucer sep and the destroyer?

Sweet! Since I use all three consoles I can now keep the worker bees on me instead of sending them to the Chevron. :)

The Odyssey received a few "stealth-buffs" with the release of the Dreadnought Warbirds. In addition to the set bonus buffs and buffs to the pets, it also received the ability to use the Fleet ship skin in the Ship Editor. I think (but am not sure) that it also received a buff to its shield modifier.

I think the lockout was done so that MVAM owners don't get shafted. In any case, the Enterprise-F can separate and launch the Aquarius at the same time... then again it is the Enterprise.

Love the fact that buffed the Odyssey by giving the chevron saucer some new abilities. However, would allowing it to use both separation and the Aquarius Escort be *that* unbalanced, considering what the Scimitar is capable of?

As a player who has a MVAE on one of his characters, I don't think allowing the Odyssey to use both Chevron Separation and Aquarius Escort would shaft the MVAE, IMO. Although the MVAM could use a buff, such as an advanced version.

So I wasn't mistaken when I saw that happen to someone. Hope they get that fixed soon, too.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind in the slightest if they gave the Odyssey and Bortasqu' hangar bays. They're certainly massive enough and have sizable shuttlebays. Not to mention the fact that like the Scimitar is for the Romulans (so far), the Odyssey and Bortas are their respective factions' flagship classes. Additionally they already have carrier-esque turnrates, plus the Scimitar still has them beat after the stealth buff, as far as I know.

They could *potentially* give the Odyssey a single hangar bay due to the massive shuttlebay in the saucer and the Bortasqu' up to two hangar bays due to the twin shuttlebay doors on the ship, as well as the KDF being they originating faction for carriers. I don't think they would be able to field frigates from these bays, however, and the complement might need to be limited.

Even if this isn't exactly balanced - one way or the other - Cryptic could definitely pull it off and have it be relatively balanced (at least compared to the Scimitar), in my opinion.
