4 Piece Sets

With the addition of warp and singularity cores, can we expect some 4 piece Engine, Deflector, Shield, and Core sets?


I realize that with Romulan Warbirds only able to use Singularity Cores it would have to be either a Faction restricted set, a ship restricted set, or have different stats for warbirds and everything else

I don't know if it's plausible, but it would be cool

    While I think we'll sets incorporating a warp/singularity core, i doubt we'll see 4-part ship sets again. The borg ship set used to have 4 parts (before the console was moved to the omega weapons set), and it was possible to get most of the set bonuses for it without using the lackluster shield. A return to 4 part ship sets will just re-introduce that problem of letting ships get set bonuses while skipping the bad parts of ship sets, or getting the bonuses from multiple ship sets.

    Note: I used 'ship sets' here to mean deflector/engine/shield sets, excluding weapon/consoles sets.

    I really hope that we don't get sets that include cores. I'd rather keep the flexibility we currently have in that selection, particularly since which core is useful is so dependent on your power levels.
