Tanking ship for Romulan Engineers?

I was wondering if there is a good tanking ship out right now or coming soon for romulans?

I am currently running with a Ha'apax with my engineer romulan. Is there a better ship when it comes to tanking?

That's pretty much it only other options would be a D'deridex retrofit or Scimitar.
The D'deridex seems a bit weaker in comparison in my opinion to the Ha'apax and the Scimitar lacks a fleet version which is a point against it. Though the Scimitar might be able to make up for it with the Secondary Shields console I don't have the stats on that so can't say. Also the lack of a forth slot in the back would make the scimitar weaker when being flanked which is common in pvp but stronger in a frontal assault. One advantage the Scimitar has is it's the only one that could use a Shield Repair Unit to aid in tanking.

The Ha'apax is the most straight-up rugged. However if you use the D'Deridex with some damage-control doffs or an aux2bat for the single cmdr eng, then you can use the ltcmdr sci for TSS3 HE2 and be 95% as durable plus a much better healer besides. At the same time the ltcmdr tac will make it a little easier to pull and hold aggro, letting you load something like FAW3 or APO1. Both ships are solid, it just depends where you want to lean.
