Drone Ships

All the attention appears to be on the Scimatar, but honestly I find its pets more interesting.

Its says they will take the appearance of a ship allied with its target.

I'm guessing it will be frigates pets that already exist mostly. Like when fighting klingons its takes on the appearence of the B'rel if the drone ship is uncommon, the B'Roth if its an Advanced Drone Ship, or a Qaw'dun if its an Elite Drone Ship.

Mesh Weavers vs. Tholians, Jem Attack ships vs. The JHEC and Dreadnaught, Fer'jals vs. The Feklhri \ Kar'fi.

What will be interesting is what form will it take vs. the Federation, Orion Sydicate, ect... not just out of curiousity, but because it may end up as a hint to future carrier pets.

If it takes the form of a Caitian Frigate when fighting an Atroix that will be a big hint, if it takes the form a federation escort when fighting a normal federation ship that will be another be hint, if it takes on the form of a Orion Corvette when fighting an Orion Ship that will be another hint, if looks at you and asks for real? When fighting a Risian Corvette that will be another hint.

For those you who are getting the Scimatar with Drone Ships, please keep us informed of the forms it takes.

    I also think the drone ships sound intriguing.

    Don't know how effective they will be...but it sounds like fun -- and that is the point of playing a game -- to have fun!

    I am looking forward to them.

    Btw I'd like a playable drone ship, I know they normally don't have crew, but they they do have a bridge and oxygen can be added to the rest of the ship.

    I just think it'd make a really unique playable experience.

    Well I'm certainly looking forward to it , this will be the first frigate class the federation side can get aside from the lock box ships. Granted you'll have to be Romulan but still it might even things out against those annoying Klingon frigates.:cool:

    That will probably be pretty easy:

    Just check out the basic pets that you can buy now. Then look at the dil ones. From there, see what abilities and such are upgraded from the EC to dil ones. Then just add another level on those upgraded abilities (plus better hull and shields most likely), and you will probably have your stats.

    The prototype had a bridge...250 years ago.
    I'm pretty sure they got rid of that in the mean time.;)
