Access to Risa with a lvl 11 Rom/KDF toon ???

Hi,

as a bold Star Trek fun family my 5 years old son is also watching trek, and has a silver STO account.
He has been enjoying the christmas event with his FED a lot, and we destroyed MANY snowmen :)

Now he finally has a Romulan toon.

We played his toon to hit lvl 11, decided for the KDF allegiance, got the DOFFs and headed for Regulus sector block to get to Risa event.

Now, it won't let us pass.

What can i do to get this toon to Risa? Anyone please?

    You can't enter Federation space seeing as you are KDF so no Risa for you sorry.

    Try entering Sirius from Eta Eridani.

    just head to the border of the sirius sector block from eta eridani. it gave me the option of warping directly to Risa with my level 33 orion charater

    The dev blog is incorrect. You need to complete the episode Bigger Picture then you can travel freely. I tested this and reported in the dev blog thread but no one picked up on it. You'll be level 13 or 14 as a romulan before you get get into the event.

    Fear not it doesn't take long to finish that episode.

    Alternatively I believe that it might be possible to get there if a fellow KDF hits you with the raiding party buff.

    Why should the Federation even let any KDF near Risa as it s Federation World?

    because since B'Vat's death the "war" is really nothing more than a recreational activity to keep klingons from getting bored and fighting amongst themselves. it barely qualifies as a cold war. I mean we fight together against the borg, we fought together against that rouge dominion fleet, so why shouldn't risians be able to invite klingons to their big festival?

    Try pressing J and click on the lohlunat festival tab on the left side and click transwarp, don't know if it works for low level kdf characters but worked on my high level

    This worked for me - Reman allied w/KDF, level 10 (no doffs yet, but did go get the new ship).

    It first pops up the "you can't get there" message; after you close that, a direct-to-Risa window pops up and it transports you directly to the event.

    Have him do the dance event and statue collections a couple of times and get one of the cheap floaters so not wasting EC. He will have a grand time. :)

    Yes, my KDF does not have marauding high enough to come into Sirius normally, the jump to Risa doesn't seem to work except from the Eta ERandi bordre, alternately you can use the Transwarp option from the Events window, which can be used from anywhere.

    Don't fly to Risa.

    You get a free pass if you bring up the Missions>Overview window, there is a "Lohlunat Summer Festival" banner on the left. Click that, and you should get the option to transwarp straight to Risa, no matter what faction you are.

    Why should you be so worried about ruining other people's fun when it is the Dev's decision?

    More importantly, the Feds and the KDF have many joint operations (Against the Borg for example) and of the two, it's the Feds that want to make peace. Outreach helps.

    Because the UFP (United Federation of PWE) wants all of their playerbase regardless of faction to be able to participate.

    My Klingon traveled through Regulus. Once I got close enough to the Sirius border I first saw the word "ally" and that became "signal contact'. That "signal contact" offered me transwarp to Risa.

    Why would any KDF want to go to Risa? Those activities arent worthy of a Warrior of Kahless!

    Been much more interesting for them to have invented a Risa type planet for Klingons and what Klingons like....Some drinking competitions or fighting pits like we saw on Nimbus III. Maybe some Tribble hunting and targ races.


    But who am I to say that the Klingons should have their own Faction specific and unique content....Hell why have factions at all?

    Tbh I don't really care for the event myself, but if someone wants to do it then they should be able to.

    There is no way that Cryptic will make ANY unique content for KDF, not after all the years of Feds being spoiled rotten PetaQ's demanding EVERYTHING.


    They can already recruit KDF Boffs and have cruisers, wasn't that suppose to be KDF unique content?
