No pvp at the moment, only pve. I run on my charal 2x dhc fleet advanced phaser, 1x wing cannons, 1x dual beam bank fleet advanced phaser and omega torpedo in front, rear 1x cutting beam and 1x turret fleet advanced phaser. All borg parts.
    4x tactical console phaser relays.

I see that my damage with charal is superior to my chimera.

Maybe 5 front weapons are the best stuff, and a fleet defiant cannont do the same damage.

since your comparing it to the charal i would say it would be fairly even, tough if both had only all DHC's upfront, i'd say the charal edges out just a little, if it was a mix of weaponry i'd say a charal could be even with the Fleet TER. however, the kumari variant would likely out DPS it majorly.

Yes, the kumari is more offensive with 5 tac consoles and 5 front weapons, but the survival is very low.

however, an engineer in a kumari could technically be as potent as a tac in a fleet TER.

and with the new traits for the miracle worker cooldown, it might actually be a reasonable choice.

Yes, it's right for engineer characters. But i'm a tactical ;-)

At this point i dont get the fleet defiant and i stay with my charal.

The advantages of the defiant are nullified if you don't PvP such as turn rate, cloak attacks with 5 tac consoles, tighter turning circles.

    You're fine with the Charal.

the charal turns pretty well and can easily keep enemies in its front arc. charal doesnt get 5 tac consoles, but the difference between 4 and 5 isnt that major, since tac consoles boost the BASE damage of the weapon only, and not overall damage.
