Hello all - newbie looking for a fleet (KDF / Romulan)

Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to stop by. I am seeking a fleet. I am new to Star Trek Online and in fact new to Star Trek in general (after so many years of ignoring it I finally started watching and got hooked!). I am by no means new to video games or MMO's (First one I played was a text-based MUD), but am seeking a group of decent folks to game with.

Some specifics - I'm on GMT-7 but due to my work schedule am usually on at night on my days off (Sunday/Monday/Tuesday currently, subject to change) or a little bit in the mornings after work. I am a pretty quiet dude and usually listen to music while I game but don't mind having to use vent/mumble/teamspeak/whatever. I am mostly just a casual player when it comes to MMO's who likes PvE and exploration. As I'm still a newbie I might not be the most proficient player yet but I do like to help people out with questing and contributing to guilds and stuff. I'd like a Klingon aligned fleet that isn't just an alt dump, I'm not really an RP'er (no that I mind it at all, it's interesting I just don't really do it) and being new to the Star Trek universe and all I probably wouldn't fit the bill for a pure RP group anyway. Mostly just looking for friendly laid back folks, Feel free to ask for any further info - take it easy (or should I say Live Long and Prosper?).

    House of Sigma is a casual mid-sized fleet.

    We do not have a FED fleet but we are on friendly terms with a number of them

    we have open, simple written policies.

    do a fleet search and ask any current member for an invite or mail me @bootymcboots

    basic info:

    ~250 active members, ~380 on roster, ~120 online in last 48 hours

    level 16 SB, complete embassy, first dilithium mine upgrade counting down

    1 week in the fleet to be a regular member, earn 100k fleet credits for access to provisions, TS3 available, website on my signature
    House of Sigma (channel KDFdefera for PvE requiring only KDF teams) List of KDF issues [my in-game handle @bootymcboots] (channel KDF Empire for KDF orientated discussion - still in development/growing)

    {UFP} might just be the fleet for you. We are a over 10 year old community dedicated to Star Trek gaming - we have a site which uses a LCARS graphics system, which I hope you will love over time with every TNG/DS9/VOY episode you watch. You spoke of wanting to get involved in a Klingon oriented fleet- we have a separate division within {UFP} titled the House of Kular who are dedicated to the Klingon Defence force.

    Your timezone is certainly not a problem we are large community with players from all over the world be it America, Europe or Asia. All of our Star Trek Online divisions are working hard to ensure that there are a number of unique events happening in all timezones.

    As a casual mmo player you may occasionally want to play a game other than STO with some of your fleet mates- this happens frequently in {UFP} under the "Holodeck" section of teamspeak/{UFP} forums.
