Playable android race?

For 1000 zen or so?

I think this would be kinda cool. After getting my Android BOFF i was happy with it/her(how ever you think of the android)

I was thinking a playable species of android would be cool.

Some realistic skills:
Increased strength: bonus damage when using fist/melee weapons.
Reduced damage taken: any damage over all when fighting on ground.
Increased Accuracy: When using weapons.

I forgot how the species dis-advantages work. So if you guys could provide ideas for them or any ideas over all.

What would you guys think of a Android playable race?

This has been requested before, many times, but particularly in the past and it's been rejected because androids are fairly rare in Starfleet (Data was the only one for most of Trek) and because it would probably be overpowered, IIRC. It's kind of like asking for playable shapeshifters.

Part of that is true. But there are thousands of Andorid boff's in this game. Thats not too rare. Any Lifetime and Gold members eventually or immediately get a Android BOFF.

For example seeing the borg in Star Trek episodes did not happen much. Now the Borg are every where. Whether it be regular borg or liberated borg. I see at least 200 a day.

Android boff's are the same way. Data was the only android bridge officer i recall. Now there are thousands of android boffs.

Im not asking for a OP android. Every species has its goods and bads. Just make the android like any other species with its good and bads and it is all good for me at least.

It was mandated by CBS that Androids would not be playable.

I'd purrfurr the Aenar playable race first (with holo-decoy or a third holographic image from that special item in the Cardashian storyline instead of just two).
