Servers Down Again? (No, it's up)

Just got booted and was sent back to the Login Screen. Could not log in. Closed the launcher, waited a few sec and restarted. Now, can't even get the launcher screen to show. The program times out and I get this message...

"Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems persist, please contact Technical Support."

Obviously, my internet connection is fine, otherwise, I wouldn't be posting this.

Anyone else getting this? I guess after getting crashes to desktop and random boots back to the login screen, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise. As much as I am loving the LoR addition, it sure has caused all kinds of hell as far as stability issues are concerned.

    And yet the main page says "server up". Lies.

    At this rate by the next season launch the sever is just going to pull a gun out and shoot itself in the face.

    Official webpage is down as well. I'd say it's fair to say something broke.

    Hm, the main page is up for me and says server up. It's taunting me.

    Jeez again its down!!! Just seems like thats all it does lately now that I have some time to play haha

    Just rebooted and still getting the same Patch Server connection error.

    They broke it... again!

    Same problem here. Right when I was about to work on my Romulan character leveling! :mad:

    Was the same exact thing I was doing! Royally pis%^ me off lol. Totally new to tactical side of things and trying to figure a decent build out for rom tactical. Might as well go to bed maybe it will be back up in the morning haha

    If that's the case, you would think they would let us fly our starship to the second star to the right, and straight on until morning, and give us a cutscene that shows it.

    Either my timing's really lucky, or it's not down.

    I just woke up, turned my laptop on, and got straight into STO. No servers issues at all.

    Not sure it is Cryptic so much as their hosting service. Did a tracert to their servers and it dies somewhere in Dallas.
