What is the "best" android boff?

Hi all! :)

I searched for some informations about but I haven't found out much.
As I lifer, i've been granted an android boff, who can be tac\sci\eng.

I can see the tac one has torpedo spread 3, but as an eng on cruisers i think torpedoes won't be my main weapon :)
Other skills doesn't look like anything wow, but I'm so noob I could possibily be very wrong :D
What can you tell me about android boffs?

    Forget about the abilities the androids come with, they have some nice ones cirtanly but no ability except tactical team 1 is good for every build.

    The android ground traits make them the perfect medic for away missions. They aint squishy. Take the science one and use the trainer to load them up with heals.
