Any settings to reduce 'patching files'?

So, I understand they don't want the footprint to be 'too big', but on days when the server is problematic loading a single zone change can take FOREVER to patch 4 files (of indeterminate size).

Is there a setting somewhere that I can change, that will pre-fetch most if not all of the graphics, etc, and just chew up a few more gig on my harddrive?

Yes, it is in your options in the launcher. Select disable on-demand patching.

If you select this option mostly all of your patch downloads are larger but it does save loading times when playing the game...

As of this time, the whole set will take up around 10GB on your hard disk.

It's pretty safe to reset on-demand patching after your mega download. There usually aren't that many new or updated assets that come in the weekly patches, unless there's an event or a season upgrade.
