Isometric charge

I recently opened an old lock box and got a isometric charge console for my fed sci ship. According to my HUD, the isometric charge should do ~10k damage at 100 aux power. However, when using it on an enemy NPC, it does a negligible amount of damage (<2000) even to an unshielded opponent.

There is a flip side to this. In the Cure elite Borg STF, the borg Negh'Var warships have this ability, but it does ~34k damage to player ships.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or its just ridiculously unbalanced. Either way, I'm not using this console anymore

1. The iso charge in CSE is ridiculously overpowered.
2. It gets stronger the farther along in the chain. It's not going to do much to the first target, but even with very low aux power I've seen it hit over 10k on the fourth target.

Yep it increases in damage everytime it jumps to another target. Very good for groups of ships.

May I add, it's amazing in Rhi Atmosphere event.

Frankly, in non-STF PvE, this is a fun console to see in action. Any extra damage that affects multiple targets only one-click away? Yes, please.

also if i remember correctly. there are skills and consoles which can boost the power of it. I have the iso console on my mobius destroyer.... i love using it after getting a group of ships in a grav well.

I don't believe Iso is affected by Aux power. It is however affected by your particle generators skill, along with tactical buffs, and also any debuffs on the enemy.
