Regarding Spiral Wave Disruptor

So first of all, do I still need Galor to get them? And should I choose Spiral Wave Disruptor over Elite Fleet Disruptor? Also does disruptors and attack patterns lower shield resistance?

You need the Galor, and the resistance debuff applies to the hull only.
Elite fleet weapons do less damage than regular weapons on the Federation side, so I'd say yes..

Depends. Spiral Waves are apocalyptically expensive. Sure, you get four with a Galor, but you want more and they're 45,560 Dilithium each.

So fleet elite are probably cheaper.

You will need to buy a maximum of 2 as it comes with 4. I still regard them as a good investment, 4 mods and 2 procs are not to be sniffed at.

I've got 6 on my Galor and I love them, for me if they do up the level cap to beyond 50 they will also level up with me so I would not have to buy any mk13 (if they ever do any)

2 great Procs + 2xACC and 2xDAM is damn good, expensive sure they are but its a good investment - I thought they were lol

They are worth the Dilithium (after getting the Galor). Buy them and have fun!
