Watching some late night TNG when I finally made it to the end of the 3rd season: The Best of Both Worlds part 1, second appearance of the Borg in TNG (Or third, if you count the mysterious disappearances in the neutral zone that brought Romulans out of their internal affairs, or the first appearance of Romulans in TNG.)
This is definitely one of my favorite two parters, especially the episode afterwards where Picard returns to France and visits his brother and the Borg ALWAYS make for a good enemy.
What about you? What are some of your favorite TNG episodes? I ask about TNG because I've yet to delve into other series, I'm a recent Trekkie though I consider myself more of a Trekkie-lite. I don't speak Klingon, but I can identify most starships and have a degree of knowledge about the technology used in the show.
DS9 is my favourite series but TNG is my second, and I would say (in no order or season or favourite)
The Defector,
The Drumhead,
The Chase,
Chain of Command,
Yesterday's Enterprise,
All good things,
Sins of the father,
Redemption
The Wounded
A Matter of Perspective
Reunion

"Darmok" is a favorite of mine, although I did have trouble with Picard suddenly knowing all the Tamarian allusions at the end, and I would have thought it would occur to Data sooner to cross-correlate all the references to see which ones all come from the same language.
When you do delve into the rest of Trek, voxius (and you will, I'm sure), the all-time best episode in all the series, in my personal opinion, is the TOS episode "The City On the Edge of Forever". (As one might expect, when the story originated with Harlan freaking Ellison...)
(As a side note, I always thought that one of the weakest aspects of the other series, especially Enterprise, was a failure to seek out scripts, or at least script ideas, from SF's leading lights. It might have been interesting, for instance, to see a DS9 episode from David Brin, or let David Gerrold back into the universe to play around with Archer and friends - or heck, as long as I'm dreaming, a VOY episode co-written by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.)

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
Best of both worlds
Sins of the Father
Yesterday's enterprise
Drumhead is a good one too
