Mark package - multiple choice on STF

In my opinion it would be best if the reward for STF Mark package and 960 dilithium.

    So you would want a choice between Omega marks and... what? There's no Tholian or Romulan targets in any of the STFs, so it wouldn't make sense to include Nukara or Romulan marks, so I assume you want a choice between Omega marks and Fleet marks? I suppose it couldn't hurt to have the choice, and there is a sort of precedence with the Deferi Invasion Zone rewarding both types. However, STFs are a bit more complicated in that your end-of-match reward can include additional Omega marks, and the optional seems to be treated differently as well.
    The universe has a wonderful sense of humor. The trick is learning how to take a joke.

    Support him all you want (assuming he's even asking for Nukara marks in STFs, he wasn't clear), the devs have said that the marks available from a mission will reflect the mission itself. There are no Tholians in STFs, ergo there will be no Nukara marks in STFs.

    From April's Ask Cryptic:
    "STO Team: We will be putting in Tholian Marks as rewards for missions and events that involve fighting against the Tholians."

    Marks are very unbalanced. For 10 STF is 750 omega, Nukara prime the same time 330 nukara Mark. For Tau Dewa sector patrol is 60 romulan (daily).

    One possibility is mark package.

    The second option:
    If the publishers will be a think little more and they will announce competition about the best foundry mission, where the price will be for example a voucher to the zen store, after this will be a many players, who would create a new map STF with the nukara and romulan themes.

    If Nukara marks is what you are after... doing the Nukara Hards, and External Medium & easy missions will get enough marks for 2 days worth of rep projects (at least through T4 and you turn them in during the marks/reputation event).

    As far as Rom, the space dailies (assuming you ever get the Red Alert to actually have Tholians in it) and Raising Epohhs

    Yes, great idea. Encourage them to just offer multiple choice on the same three missions we already run 1000 times, instead of encouraging them to fix the mark problems on other content, and add some actual new endgame content.

    I wrote to do a competition where players can create maps with Nukara a Romulan theme.

    50 Marks = 500 unrefined Dili. You don't need the choice, its already available.

    There's plenty of support for "Mark of Choice" as reward.

    I would like them to remodel all the Que stuff, break down all the Fleet Actions into STF's as well, reward a choice of marks for them all and put the STF's on long CD's.

    Also add a new event where it picks a STF for double rewards every few hours or so.

    The Mark reward should be consistent with the content of the mission. In other words, Omega Marks only for Borg STFs. No choice unless the mission crosses the boundary, like VE or ANR. But there should be true STF equivalents for both Romulan and Nukara marks.

    It used to be that way a long time ago (like, pre-S7). Every week for a couple days Infected, Cure, or Khitomer Accords would reward two EDCs per round instead of one, I think it was.

    doesn't a "Choice of Marks" on all missions defeat the purpose of reputation? The Reputations are supposed to represent your reputation/prestige with a given group, why would it make sense that fighting Borg effects your reputation with the Nukara Strike Force?

    I would support a rebalancing of the Marks so each type is just as easy or hard to get as the next, but combining all rep marks or making any mark available for any mission is a mistake.

    I'm writing all the time to several PVE for Nukaru and Romulus or mark choice package!!!!!! Reward would be a classic. 60 + 15

    Oh, okay. Now there's only one mark. The Influence Mark, and it represents your reputation and prestige among all groups. Now it makes sense that fighting Borg would impress the Nukara Strike Force. Whew, glad that argument is out of the way!

    You know, on one of my characters, I'm WAY past my medal of honor. But let's say I'd completed exactly the requisite number, and that I only killed 10 borg ships in each one. Well that's three thousand borg vessels.

    If we were to put this in story terms, and we imagine someone in the Nukara Strike Force talking to their commander, and they said, "Ah yes, Szurr. He's the one who killed three thousand borg ships." I do not think their commander would say, "Borg aren't tholians! Not impressed! Same as a raw cadet to me! Give him a pop gun and a crossed-out spiderweb t-shirt like everyone else!"

    With existing Borg ESTFs being largely focused on the Borg, I don't think choice of marks really works for them. However, I would like to see more ESTF missions involving the other marks/factions.

    A tal shiar / borg salvage operation makes sense.

    The odd one is getting the Tholians involved with the borg, can just expand the lore behind the Tholian/Borg Red Alert fight though.
