BOFFs in adventure zones

I've seen this a couple of times now, and haven't found any real information on it, so i figured i would post it on the forums:
on the zone adventure maps, such as defera invasion, nukara, new romulus, etc. ive seen occasionally (only twice to be exact) groups of peoples bridge officers down in a group setting up turrets and mortars or shooting grenades and stuff at enemies. while i know you have 1 BOFF with you on new romulus, and on nimbus your BOFFs materialize magically once you leave the city, I'm talking about their whole away team and in places where your not supposed to have BOFFs, such as Nukara prime and defera (back when it was new, idk if it still exists anymore). on both occasions, i have either asked the person whose BOFFs they are (to get no response) or have not been able to find the owner of them to ask how they got their away team down onto the map. being an engineer, it would be a neat twist to add to my inventory of strategies (such as getting the thinning the hive-kill 250 tholians mission on nukara done to be more efficient) and plus, it would just be neat to try out.
if i see it again, ill try to post a picture or video of it so that you can see what i mean if you don't understand/to understand better.
and if im repeating something that's already been posted, my bad (not that big of a deal), but its kind of hard to search for something this specific in the forums. if anyone has a link to a forum thread on this or something like it, id appreciate it.
hope this leads somewhere for those who may also be puzzled by this and have seen it.

thanks, ill try that out. its probably really cool when it happens:D
Did figure out how to get a single BOFF+ability to call rest in as redshirts :P
If you go to the defera invasion zone, power plant level 2 : then rezone map instance you should now have a shiny BO with you (might have to head back to level one for them to spawn properly)
