Alright, this post might make me look like I am bipolar, but I want to say besides the nerf of "Defense of New Romulus", this most recent patch is great. Simply, thank you Cryptic, some of these problems were really affecting gameplay, the 5 second drop/no map manager pretty much killed my Mirror Mission, and others like mail mean I can delete the 350+ I sold this item messages. I know it was hard to put up with our complaints, and patience is normally not a problem for me, however due to missing updates on what was being worked on, I let my frustration get the better of me and I apologize.
I hope with the next expansion, all tester will get a good 3 weeks to point out these bugs before the game goes live. I think that more testing will help prevent some of the significant bugs that really frustrated players like myself. It is only a suggestion, as I acknowledge I do not know the details in applying a new expansion, thus I digress back to saying just Thankyou.
I have to admit, after all the server stability only updates, I kind of expected more crushed bugs.
FKA K-Tar, grumpy Klingon/El-Aurian hybrid. Now assimilated by PWE.

This. Unless there are a hell of a lot of unlisted fixes, the patchnotes are pretty weaksauce considering the timescale, the amount of bugs that remain(only ones introduced in LoR mind, there are many more that have been around for ages), and that we have no idea when the next round of fixes will arrive.
No mention of the inability to train Romulan or Reman race boffs with allied faction boffs, no mention of the inability of Romulan and Reman captains to train allied faction boffs with abilities granted via skill advancement, no mention of the fact that allied faction boffs still use that faction's transporter visual and audio effects rather than Romulan ones, or the lack of ways to obtain purple Romulan and Reman boffs and doffs, or the dozens-perhaps-hundreds of bugs with the tailor including the seemingly inexplicable segregation of Tal Shiar costume parts based on character gender, not even the most basic of issues like a fix for the Aquarius escort's bizarre episode of gigantism which should surely only take moments of effort to change a couple of values to sort out.
Cryptic/PWE have had nearly 18 months of revenue from z-store ships and lockboxes and people who want to avoid the dilithium grind, yet they still seem to be investing a completely inadequate amount of that revenue into polishing the game - go have a look at the forums for other MMO games, big and small, sub or F2P, western or otherwise - you'll certainly see the same complaints and the same problems surrounding major patches, but what you'll also see are much more frequent patches, and in many cases their patchnotes for emergency hotfixes are longer than what Cryptic can cack out in two weeks. I've seen F2P MMO devs put out three hotfixes in one day with patchnotes for each detailing dozens of individual issues that had been solved.
Things need to improve.

Ok, let's see....Fatal crash on attempting to patch, report submitted, then needed to verify all files. Deleted all mails, nice, but then first attempted mission (First Contact) was still bugged, so had to file bug report.
Nervously queued for Gorn Minefield, and waddya know, got in without being kicked out, nice loot, go DS9, disconnected from server.
Not sure whether to laugh or cry.

I don't think it's a matter of short test time, but more of a matter of not fixing those bugs that were found and reported a long time ago by the testers. I understand there are still bugs that have existed since the original game launch. So, the testing was done, at least as far as the beta testers are concerned. Not sure about the quality or quantity of in-house testing done, but it would seem lacking considering the amount of bugs that have popped up after beta testing.
So far things have looked like Microsoft syndrome: just launch it before the deadline and let users find the bugs live and we'll fix them as we can, if ever.
I don't mean to belittle the devs' work, but parts of the machine are clearly not working. I'll bet good money it's a management issue.
