Note that these are all specialty cores, thus working on any type of starship, as opposed to the convention antimatter/singularity cores.

M.A.C.O Dilithium Fusion Core
+2.5 Weapon Power
(Increases at low weapon power)
+2.5 Auxiliary Power
(Increases at low aux power)

When Recieving All Damage, 2% chance to apply 'Emergency Containment Network':
+93 All Damage Resistance for 20 seconds
+10 Auxiliary Power for 20 seconds

*Cannot occur more than once every 5 minutes

Omega Dual Matrix Battery Core
+2.5 Weapon Power
(Increases at low weapon power)
+2.5 Engine Power
(Increases at low engine power)

When Receiving All Damage, 2% chance to apply 'Subspace Targeting Jammer':
+50% Starship Defense for 20 seconds
+20% Damage bonus for 20 seconds
*Cannot occur more than once every 5 minutes

I will add the Borg and Klingon Cores later. Thoughts so far?

Lol, every time a request comes by is more weapon power. It would be nice to have more shield and aux power. I think things are pretty good on the weapon power front already.

while the stats might be debatable, i like the idea of special warp cores from reputation system.

what dou you think about making them part of a set?

A 15 second proc with a 7 minute cooldown wouldn't be worth anything. That's a 3% chance for a 3.6% uptime. If cryptic ever added special warp core, you can be certain the proc cooldowns wouldn't be greater than 30 seconds just based on their current precedence.

Shield and Aux would go on the Borg. Weps and Shields on klingon. Each warp core buffs a pair of the 4 power levels, depending on the set's focus. I was thinking about Shields/Aux for MACO but I figured that it better suited the Borg set.

That's the idea. Add a 4th component to all the sets, seeing with the addition of warp cores to the game.

For the M.A.C.O set, those are 15 seconds of extremely high damage resistance, in which you can basically repair all your damage. In PvP, if it had a chance to activate every 30 seconds, cruisers would be invincible. But I will tweak the way the procs work.

Warp/Singularity cores focus almost entirely on power level related boosts. A piddling 5 (max) boost versus the current standard that have been set by M/AM and Singularity cores means even though I might get an occasional shiny proc, the lack of power makes me shy away from it almost automatically.

didn't they already say they have no intention of ever making warpcores into the stf sets?

Probably, this would enable people to mix and match set bonuses again.

Fleet Warp Cores are coming! We probably won't make warp cores for existing sets like MACO/Honor Guard, but future sets will possibly include Warp Cores as well. :)
