Lots of bugged reach markers D:

I've been playing quite a few foundry missions today, and I've noticed one thing they all seem to have in common. Each and every one seems to have one or more bugged "reach markers".

For those of you non-Foundry author types, reach markers are the blue circles on your map that mark the area of your next objective. The author has no say over placement of the marker (iirc...been a while since I fiddled with the Foundry). The Foundry is supposed to put the marker over the objective, and the author can adjust the size as they see fit but that's all.

The objectives themselves still work just fine...if you can find them. Hopefully Cryptic is aware of this issue, but just in case:

Hey coder dudes! Your reach markers are all borked up!!! :eek:

We all know ya got bigger fish to fry (or bugs to squash if you prefer), but don't leave us hangin', man! :D

    The reach marker that the author puts down on the map seems to still be there, however, the ring on the minimap that tells the player where to go is what's screwed up.

    Crypticfrost said in another thread that this is their #1 Foundry issue that's being worked on. Hopefully that means a fix soon, preferably before reviewing is turned back on.

    Yes, this is a known issue which has been triaged and assigned to a programmer. The usual disclaimers apply.

    Something that seems like an iteration of the same issue I have also had when I am trying to play missions is when all the markers seem to be in the right place but the guy just won't talk to you. I wish I could remember the specific mission, but I am supposed to "talk to (named npc)" I find him, standing there with the correct name and a marker over his head but he refuses to speak to me. Seems like the same sort of thing. You say you got someone on it which is great, let's get this one fixed quick now that a few of the other major glitches have been dealt with. Replaying episodes gets old after the third or forth time and daily missions are repetitive kind of by design. The foundry missions are the best part of the game as far as I'm concerned despite the occasional stuck bridge officer. Right now I got about ten bugged missions in my in-progress list waiting for a fix so I can finish them. I understand how the whole major update thing can be, but seeing as how the foundry provides the vast majority of the story driven game content it has to be a top priority. As soon as you have the main log in issues fixed, the foundry should be next on the list. At least I hope. Great game, Cryptic. Hope you get it working the way it is supposed to soon so I can stop testing out other subpar games.

    This is also a known issue. It's pretty much #2 on the Foundry bug list, right after the Reach Marker waypoint issue.
